We love Eco Elio. Not only because if its sustainability values, but because the product has a super smooth texture and is therefore easy to apply. Also it's scentless, which my 11yr old daughter loves. She hates the usual, perfumed stuff and has even started putting sun cream on by herself this week. We're sold! This is our new sun cream brand going forward.

The Eco elio SPF 30 sun cream comes in a large 150ml tube. It is sustainability conscious and doesn't contain microplastics, nanoparticles or fragrances.The SPF 30 is great for autumn to spring seasons. I personally prefer a stronger SPF in the hot weather.I really like this sunscreen. It doesn't sting my eyes unlike most sunscreens I've ever used. I doesn't however make my skin look very shiny which I'm not fond of.All in all, this is a good sunscreen but not for every skin.

I’ll start by saying that I’ve been testing this out in the UK… in March. So, not the most extreme amount of sunshine for it to protect me from, but I can say that there’s not really a scent to this cream, and it absorbs into the skin well and without leaving any greasy residue.All the writing on the side of the tube is in German.

Looking at this sun cream I was a littleConcerned it did not have a uva star rating but I’m not sure if that’s a marketing thing. Looking into it, it has a uva as a minimum of 10 due to it being at least a third of the spf but it also says helps against uvb also meaning this is a broad spectrum sun screen.Now I’d did find myself going down a rabbit hole reading into all this but in short uvb gives you sunburn and is a result of being in direct sun uva can penetrate through clouds and glass and seems to be the cause of a more significant long term damage to the skin.I’m no expert whatsoever but what this shows to me is the uva star rating might be a bit of a gimmic.So I would say this is on the higher end of what I’d like to pay for sun cream but however this is the way we should all be goingThis is way more eco friendly than any other sun screen I have ordered.Being that the tube is 100% recyclableThe box is cardIt has no fragrance no nanoplastic or microplasticIt also doesn’t contain Octocrylene something again after a google that the fda is safe up to 10% so it doesn’t sound very friendly either.You also with the purchase are helping towards the reconstruction of coral reefs.I wish every company had such an environmentally friendly approach.So yes it may be expensive and this is why I have dropped a star but looking into it all a little more maybe we should all be prepared to pay a little more to try and help the planet and the future generations

I ordered this with the intention to use it, not so much for sun-bathing, but to carry around when exploring on holiday. The high factor is good especially for the face or for areas that perhaps have had too much sun already.The cream itself comes in a decent sized tube. All the text is in German but it's a sun cream so it's easy to use. When applied it absorbs very quickly on the skin and is non-greasy. My partner, without knowing what it was supposed to smell like, said immediately it smelled like coconut but personally I'm struggling to get that scent. It is quite a pleasant smell but I can't really place it. The sun cream claims to be water resistant but I would always re-apply after swimming.Overall we're very impressed with it. Often creams with high factors leave traces on the skin but this is completely invisible after application and it's not noticeable at all. It's good for the environment too as it doesn't contain micro-plastics. Highly recommended.

☀️ I thought that this sun cream would be useful for some top-up sun protection on holiday in the UK, where the sun isn’t blisteringly hot, but nevertheless, it can damage your skin if you are outdoors for long periods of time. The factor is not the highest at 30, and I won’t be discarding my factor 50 for the hottest days any time soon.☀️ You get a reasonable volume in the tube, but it’s not going to last forever, and if you're contemplating buying more, some might be put off by the elevated cost of this product. What do you get that lifts it out of the pack, then? Well, everything is in German, which I don’t read, so I can’t tell at a glance from the pack exactly what you are getting. Looking at the online ingredient list and doing some research, everything seems safe for topical use, although a spot test is always recommended, and as with all these creams, your safety is your choice. There are a lot of stabilisers, thickening agents, waxes and sugars, vitamins E and B, and three different UV filter agents. Do some research to see if you have any sensitivity to these active ingredients. I cannot see any that are recognised as microplastics as advertised.☀️ The cream does rub in well, but not as well as spray lotion for the whole body. Its texture leads me to use it on areas where a little residue might help rather than hinder, such as the ears, nose, and back of the neck. It is not a vegan product, but it is not advertised as such. It does seem vegetarian, so long as you don’t mind beeswax.☀️ The smell is not unpleasant or overpowering, and the product is pleasant to use. I think that it is best kept for a combination with other products where full coverage is required, but to cover some exposed areas where you have covered up in hot sun, then it seems a reasonable choice. I use sunscreen when fishing, and although I don’t like residue on my hands, it can easily be cleaned off, and having this kind of protection while outdoors all day is very welcome. ✔️

Solo lo he probado una vez y he de decir que me ha gustado bastante, no queda pegajosa, tampoco te deja la cara brillante (ni mate, por si os interesa), no tiene tampoco olor y deja la cara suave. El único pero que le he encontrado es que en las mejillas me ha dejado algunas bolitas, tengo que probar con menos cantidad de producto porque sospecho que ese es el problema, ya que en la frente no me ha pasado. Tengo dermatitis seborreica y no me ha afectado con respecto a eso, a lo largo de los días veré si cambia algo. Recomiendo que la probéis.

Quería probar un protector solar libre de químicos para ver la diferencia. Está claro que el resultado es a largo plazo, así que lo único que puedo decir es que la textura es más bien líquida, no tan espesa y blanqueante como otros, no lleva aroma y cunde bastante. Para el cuerpo es perfecto, pero en la cara, el acabado es grasiento y deja restos (pelotillas).

Tengo la piel muy delicada, soy de tez muy blanca y que se enrojece de solo sonreír. Algo de calor o frio y ya estoy roja y con la piel quemada. Pedí el envase más pequeño para probar el producto. Y me he quedado encantado con ella. La he probado unos días en la nieve y los resultados son fantásticos.Hace ya varios años que procuro comprar cremas solares sin microplásticos y sin productos contaminantes, sobre todo cuando el objetivo es usarla en la playa. Con el tiempo esta costumbre se convirtió en hábito y ahora no compro ninguna crema de este tipo que no tenga la etiqueta free de microplasticos.En este caso la probé en unos días de esquí y la verdad es que estoy muy contento. Es cierto que su protección 30 te obliga a tener que estar un poco más pendiente de aplicarla más a menudo. La próxima vez la compraré de factor 50. Pero la protección es más que correcta.Además tengo la piel grasa y este tipo de cremas suelen generarme comedones, sobre todo en la espalda. Aunque no la he probado en la espalda si que lo hice en la cara y no he tenido esa sensación de piel cargada que tengo con cremas más densas.Se absorbe muy rápidamente dejando la piel fresca y con buen olor. Además también se extiende con facilidad lo que hace que aplicársela a los niños sea más fácil. Sin embargo mi envase por ser de factor 30 no lo hace muy recomendable, porque tienes que estar detrás de ellos cada media hora para poder darles crema.Por lo demás es muy recomendable. Además está envasada en cartón reciclado y el envase también.
