The book was for sure THE BEST book in the series. I would stay awake until quite late at night, just so I could finish the chapter. Just one more chapter, I would tell myself. One became two then three and sometimes even more. Bryan Davis wrote it so well, it seemed I was there, in the book. I would weep alongside the characters and giggle at their jokes. I felt as if I had become part of the book, and in my heart, I was. The book taught me so much about life, love and longing. I've learned that no matter what, God will provide if you trust him. If you haven't read the series and are looking for something to read, then look no further. These are the books for you.~Samy

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series they are a wonderful and captivating read for all ages.

I love this series!!! i have them in hard back and when I got my kindle i had to have this series on it! This book always makes me cry at the end but it is soooo worth it. they are tears of happiness and joy because after watching the characters grow and mature over the years it is like watching your friends. Everything that they go through and who they mature into, interwoven with the story of Christ's love for us....its a masterpiece!

All I can say is that this is Bryan Davis' best work by far. I never felt a feeling of infamiliarity even though the main characters (Bonnie and Billy) had grown up. Bryan Davis artfully concluded the two series and melded them into one in this fantastic book! All the dangling strings were tied up neatly yet there is a feeling that there is still another adventure in store. I can't wait to read the Children of the Bard series! Well done, Mr. Davis!

This is an epic, funny, engaging, uplifting, encouraging, powerful, life changing book, and it's by my favorite author. What could be better? If you want a book series that you won't be able to stop reading and that will change you for the better, READ THIS SERIES!!! Thank you Bryan Davis!

Daughter (age 12) loves the series and couldn't wait to begin the next book. Oracles of Fire is a fantasy series with some biblical themes and principles, but it is not an allegory. It is clean...no language, innocent romance.

Bryan Davis has done it again! I just love reading these books again and again, and so greatly appreciate the depth of soul he can portray in these characters. I am so completely drawn to them, their struggles and triumphs, I find myself wishing they were my friends in real life. You are a man after my own heart, Mr. Davis. Please keep spreading that fire!

My son has been unable to be found since this book arrived in the mail - so it must be pretty good! He's only surfacing for meals, then rushing back to find out what comes next. I'm sure I'll know when he's finished it, as he might come up for air (and a shower). Any good book that engages him like this, and has a good moral story, gets five stars from me!
