I have been "fighting" my long MacBook cord for years. It's always sloppy with no easy way to store it. Sidewinder is awesome!!!! It's a very clever and elegant solution to a messy problem! I love it!!!! Also, I had excellent customer service--my charger is an odd size. The instructions told me to contact customer service for the proper inserts. I received a prompt reply to my request. The mailed inserts are perfect, and the Sidewinder works great! The included instructions are brief but thorough and easy to follow. My cord is now very neat and easily portable in the Sidewinder!!!

This was just what I needed to tame the cable tangle inside my laptop bag. I loved the AC extension cord and the versatility it affords me when traveling from site to site. But the length of both the AC and USB-C cables made it an annoyance when getting out the door or setting up. This little reel is well constructed, sturdy, and easy to use. If you travel a lot, I would recommend this for keeping your cables and power supply organized and ready to go.PS: Please pardon the pink hue in the photos, it was reflected from the ambient room lighting. The reels are actually bright white in color with a glossy finish.TIP: Some reviewers complained that the USB-C cable tends to hang out by a foot or so after the AC cord is completely reeled in. To alleviate this problem what you can do is loop the USB-C cable, one time around the main power supply (under the AC cable), before closing up the reel, as shown in the pictures above, and it will balance out the length.

The side winder is amazing! It's lightweight and makes it so much easier to store my charger. I tried another Macbook charger cable winder and it was much bulkier and heavier. This cable organizer definitely wins in comparison. The instructions included say to contact the company to receive 45w inserts. I'm waiting to hear back from them on how to get those inserts, so the block is a little loose, but it's still so much better than my charger cable being loose and messy.

This is such a handy device! I wish I bought this years ago! My long laptop charging cord was such an eye sore before. Plus, it is much easier keeping my laptop cord out of reach of my curious toddler with this little device!

I love the secure fit and easy wind and store benefits. The only problem I have is that since you need to use both hands to pull simultaneously to keep the cord even inside the product as you extend/unwind, the items falls and props open making me have to reinstall the cord inside the keeper pretty much each time I need to extend the length.I’ve resorted to using some tape to keep it closed.

I'm not a big reviewer, but when a product catches my attention and proves it's value over time, I'll take the time to write a review. I bought this after seeing an ad online. Overall, it's function is pretty simple, wind up that annoying old Macbook charger. It does this exceptionally well, and keeps the cord tidy and safe, as well as easy to unwind to whatever length when you need it. The plastic had held up well, I've dropped it several times and it hasn't cracked or broken. After a year and a half, I would buy this again.

Tames the charger cord very well. When the three-prong extension is attached to the brick, it can quickly become unwieldy. But the SideWinder makes it easy to stow and unroll. No binding that I've noticed, and rolling up takes 5-secs.Only wish I could find one the right size for MacBook Air (the original only works with the 'bigger' 60-80watt bricks)
