Great Bulbs - Great Price - Great Durability
I have to start by saying i read a lot of reviews on this product and i was worried about longevity of the bulb with some saying they lasted hours, and others saying they lasted days or under a month. So far we have had them in and being used for 4 weeks and no sign of any of them failing yet.I was also worried about the trip issue, but we had the same problem with branded bulbs as well as non branded so i think it is more of a safety thing by the sound of it.I really cannot complain about these bulbs at all, and at the price, you really couldnt do any better, even if they only lasted a week each, the price makes up for it.To conclude i really would take a punt on these, they are identical to the normal ones i bought in robert dyas down to the markings and last the same length of time from what i can tell.

No complaints and good value.
I can't comment on the life of these but they are very good value and the ones I have used are working well. I did note that there were complaints of early failures but decided that this was more than likely a result of heavy handed handling during transit. Dropping a filament lamp will dramatically shorten the life of it even if it is cold.

Exactly the same performance as mid-range shop-bought bulbs
I just re-ordered 50 of these bulbs, following the 40 I bought 18 months ago. We have around 60 of these light fittings in our place, and I am changing at least three bulbs a month on average. Sounds like a question from a Maths exam! Anyway, I always mark the date on each new bulb in pencil so I know how long they're lasting (geeky, I know!). For me, these bulbs are just as reliable as the ones from Homebase costing at least three times more. Some of them go inside three months and some have lasted over a year so far. There doesn't seem to be any correlation between usage and reliability; some of our lights are on all day, some are on dimmers, and some are switched on and off every hour or two (like bathrooms without windows). Anyone who's having persistent problems with blowing bulbs in a matter of days should consider having their switches, wiring, and transformers checked. This type of bulb is just the final piece in a complete electrical sub-system. You may have cheap kit upstream which might be affecting the voltage to the lamps themselves. But as I said, these last just as long as the expensive ones, and the light is comparable too. Its just a shame that changing them is such a chore!

Great Value for Money
I'd love to know where all the one stars buy their bulbs, because I've never had one of these type of bulb last longer than 6 months maximum. I've bought the top quality ones at £7 a pop and I've bought the pound shop ones. Maybe I've got a different electricity to them (I live in a hard water area) but these premium brands are just as bad as the cheap ones. I don't expect these to last any longer - and in fairness they don't, but for the price, I'm laughing.

Value bulbs
Good value but agree that not as long lasting as some makes. Think of this as a value product and you will probably be happy...

35Watt Halogen Light Bulbs
These light bulbs were OK although the first one we used only lasted about a week, but we maybe didn't have it in the socket properly as haven't had any problems since then. Thank you.

Good value, packaged well, working as they should.
Only just received these bulbs so hard to tell but they arrived quickly, delivered in bubble wrap and cardboard, so I guess they've solved the package problem, Surrey if they don't work or are faulty that would be the manufacturer fault not the supplier?.. fitted 4 easily, looks good and all working fine, brilliant price but time will tell, I'm pleased so far!
