Hinged. Just fits 12x12”
It’s hinged which I hadn’t noticed. This is less useful than my others where the lid can be removed. It’s a tight fit for 12x12 but it’s ok.

Good box but not most suitable for papers.
A good strong box but is only 12 X 12 so will not take scrapbook papers with an edge added on for makers information. Also it is difficult to get papers out without tipping them out or risking ruffed edges.

Great for storage
I'm not using these for scrappaper however work great for storing topic work for kids at school. Keeps everything tidy. Removed 1 star because it's abit expensive. The Range had them cheaper but I wanted to buy the same style and they had run out at the time I needed them.

Handy size and self stacking
These boxes are ideal for what I wanted them for. I use a lot of 12 x 12 card for papercraft and they fit in them perfectly.
