Definitely slim fit! Best we've tried!
Fiancé loved this shirt! We ordered several slim fit shirts from different companies but this one fits him the best. He is 6'2, 208lbs, athletic build and we ordered a large, 16-16.5 neck, 34-35 sleeve in the chocolate, pink, and purple. Pics are fresh out the package and him trying it on. Beware there are pins everywhere with the packaging! We plan to order many more colors! Amazing buy!

Best shirt of its kind on Amazon.
I wanted a work shirt that fit me snugly. Unfortunately, there isn't a great selection of slim-fit shirts WITH a pocket. No department stores had them and very few on Amazon existed let alone in my size. The price was right so I took a chance on one black and one red shirt.First off, the color is great! The black shirt does not have that washed out look. The red shirt is a bright, vibrant color. There's no sheen with this cloth so you won't look like you're going to a night-club. The material, however, is somewhat stiff and pretty warm. I'm in an air conditioned area so that's usually not a problem. Compared to other shirts at this price point, this material is a good value. My only real problem is the width of the sleeves around the elbows. The material folds and crimps when my arms are crossed causing a bit of mild discomfort and leaves an accordion look afterwards. Oh, and you have to iron it a lot. Not that big of a deal for me but just noting it.For $20 (plus $9 embroidery) I really can't reccommend a better shirt of its type on Amazon. And I've searched HUNDREDS of shirts for days. I only removed one star because the elbow width is a serious issue. I have thin arms and the fit in that specific spot is not very good.. That'll be an issue for plenty of fellas out there.

Love these shirts....
Love these shirts, I now have 4, and planning to get a few more. They fit me perfectly, close, but not tight. They are truly 'tapered slim design' so I don't looklike I am wearing a tent.I am 5' 10'', 132lb's, 30 waist and 36 chest.. so the medium size is perfect.[It would be awesome if you guys reviewing cloths would give your measurements.. ]These have been through the wash many times and no fading or seams falling apart. If your a thin guy tired of "tapered" shirts that are 3 feet wide, give these a try. Also, as always, great service from Amazon.com.

Slim means slim!
Ordered this hoping that it would be close to an athletic cut but it was not. Just as a FYI - I am 5'11" with a 17 neck, 15 bicep (hanging), and 35 arm length. I ordered the 17/17.5 neck, 34/35 arm length and the shirt could not be buttoned. When I bent my arm to attempt to button it, I felt like I was getting my blood pressure taken because of how tight the material was in the arm. So, yeah, it is for slim guys. On a positive note, I liked the color and the material and stitching seemed to be of good quality. If it had fit, I probably would have ordered another few.

PERFECT For Slim Athletic Build
I'm a tall, slim, athletic man with broad shoulders; 6'3 185lbs. I ordered a 16-16.5 36/37 and it is perfect. I have a very hard time finding dress shirts that fit well and are reasonably priced. This shirt has it all. It's reasonably priced, good quality, perfect length and slimness in the arms and midsection. If they had more colors in my size, I'd get several more. I've also tried a couple other brands that fit very well, but not perfect (JD apparel wasn't quite slim enough and Gentlemans Apparel wasn't quite broad enough in the shoulders or long enough).

Great Purchase! Will be buying more!
Excellent purchase!I'm 5' 7" and weight around 125 lbs. So I'm pretty slim and this shirt fits me perfectly. The sleeves are slightly long but I intentionally got a longer size because I hate when I stretch or bend my arm(s) and the sleeves go up my forearm. The material is of good quality. Not too thin but not heavy either. As others have mentioned, the pocket is just a bit lower than usual, but to me, it is so slight I hardly notice it.I will definitely be purchasing more of these in different colors.

Go One Size Up
I am 5' 9" and weigh 185 lbs. My regular shirt size is 16 1/2 neck and 32/33 neck. I wear a size 44 coat and on a good day, I have a 34 inch waist. I read the reviews that the shirts run small and from the picture(s), I liked the selection of colors. For 20 bucks I was willing to take a chance. Best 20 bucks I've spent. I went up a size and it fit just fine. I ordered the maroon color and it pairs incredibly with black, gray and blue. I ordered the XL: 17 1/2 neck; 32/33 sleeve. Guys who are complaining about the fit are guys who don't know how a dress shirt should fit. We're not playing golf in this shirt. It's a dress shirt. There shouldn't be a lot of material under the arm and the sleeves shouldn't be blousy. I look around and this is all I see when men are wearing dress shirts. Yes, it does seem that only tall/skinny guys can fit in these shirts, but maybe they're the only ones who know how to wear a shirt.

OK buy. Material is comparable with price. Strange pocket placement
Bought this b/c I want this color. Had to get a larger size b/c of slim fit; which is fine b/c of size varies from one manufacturer to the other and body type / size.Same with other reviewr: The pocket is strangely lower and outward. It needs to move closer to the center 1/2 inch and 1 inch higher. I don't intend to make use of the pocket, so not drawing attention to it when wore (see the pic from manufacturer and compare to the one you already have, if you care that much about the pocket). The quality of material is comparable with $20-25 range, so no value there. This is similar or a bit better to shirt quality sold at Walmart: looks good at first glance but just ok at a closer inspection.Strange button hole on the side of sleeve collar with the button (both side with holes, one has the button right next to it). Strange because the hole on the button side serves no purpose.Minus one star for the pocket placement. Minus one star for the materials inconsistent with advertisement.Overall is an OK buy. I intend to wear them once every two weeks. Will find better quality if the color works out.Free return is a must if you are buying this shirt the first time or try to see the color.
