Not just great for trees
I bought these to go over my raised staircase planters to keep the animals from eating my strawberries and it works great. You can easily cover your plant and tighten the bottom to keeps pests out. The zipper allows you to open it up to allow pollinators in when you are around to keeps pests out or to harvest what you have grown.

Did the job
The tree cover did the job, but the drawstrings broke.

Exactly what it promised to do
We needed a large net to enclose our young apple tree to keep the deer from eating the leaves down to the stem every night. This net was easy to put on and close the zipper and tighten the drawstring around the bottom to keep deer from eating the tops and rabbits the bottom. It accomplished the goal 100%.

They do the job
They did well protecting my blueberries from birds and squash bugs. But the cords broke pretty easily with just a few tightening and loosening sessions. I put a better quality cord in and that fixed that problem. I might get one more berry season out of them before the fabric comes apart from the zipper, but for the price I guess that is OK. The next pair I get, I will know to change the cordage, and figure out some way to reinforce the fabric to zipper connection.

Netting
The nets are nice but after 2 months the cording to pull it together on bottom disintegrated. You barely pull it and it breaks off in pieces!

Great Tree Protection
Last year I bought a bare root elberta peach tree since I love the elberta variety. As a two year tree, it flowered nicely and set about a dozen fruits. We had some rough windy storms while the tree was in the bloom stage and I could envision loosing all my fruit. So I got this cover to protect the fruit buds from both the weather and backyard critters. I needed a ladder to get it over the top of my tree and I draped it over some 6 ft landscape stakes so as not to weigh down or damage the branches. The cover is wide enough to adequately cover my small tree without crimping the branches. Once installed, I didn't worry about the weather. I realize squirrels can still dig up the roots but they didn't bother going up the tree for the fruit. The cover survived the hot weather we've had this year and early spring rain. Therefore, this inexpensive cover has done its job very well. I took it off after all the fruit was harvested and put it away for next year.

String to fasten closed does not hold up
I have been using my tree netting on a fig tree and have enjoyed how the netting has kept squirrels, birds and neighbors from eating at the figs. I would be very pleased with this product EXCEPT I haven’t made it through 1/2 of one growing season and the string that is used to fast the netting around the tree broken into a bunch of pieces. The string is so weak that when I discovered that the netting was unsecured, and gave the string a minor pull it broke immediately - there is string in the netting tube that has broken and I had to jimmy-rig another solution. I won’t be purchasing this project again due to the pitiful string. We’ll see how the netting holds up as we go through the rest of the season.
