Good design and works well.
This is a very practical device, and a good alternative to some other USB card readers. The main feature I like is the flying lead. I've used fixed USB card readers in the past, and they are either too bulky for laptops, or worse, provide a nice sticky-out bit on tower cases for you to hit your knee on and shear off. The small plug nearly eliminates both these problems.Further to it's credit is the USB 3.0 connection, that really does speed up reading all those 24MP pictures off my camera. I've not timed it against anything else, but the speed increase over USB 2.0 devices is quite marked.I may not have much use for the dual slots, but it does provide a backup slot in case, like my internal card reader, the contacts become worn and intermittent. As this is probably the main reason for failures, you're almost getting two readers for the price of one!In all it's a good design, works well and appears to be reliable.

Worst Card Reader. Ever.
Re-used ASIN by the look of it. It is a Saicoo dual SD/micro SD card reader. USB3.One socket never worked. OK, USB3 at least.Few corruptions. It happens.Connected to a new system, caused 6 minute delay in shutdown, RTC syncing issues, unreliable startup.Tried in other system, the same. This was without any cards inserted, so I had already tried disconnecting/troubleshooting every other type of media connected.

Handy Card Reader with lots of slots
A good bit of kit in use with a 2m USB extension so that I can upload photos from the camera memory card without scrabbling around on the floor under my desk.I did have a minor issue with correctly plugging the device into PC USB ports - when pushed fully home the connection wasn't made. Wiggling the plug out a couple of millimetres seemed to do the trick. Perhaps the problem is with my PC USB ports. Worth knowing if your computer doesn't appear to recognise the card reader.I have two of these and t

Great value SD card reader/writer.
Great card reader/writer. 1 star off because for microSD cards the slots are not obvious as to the orientation they should be inserted. on the top end i needed to turn the card upside down so that it would meet the contacts. the guides for the slot do not properly prevent a microSD card from being insert incorrectly.otherwise it seems to be a solid bit of kit.

Very fast Video file transfer
The card reader has an extension lead so makes an easy, strain free connection to the USB 3 port on the PC.The PC reports 2 drives (one is the slot on the end of the reader, the other is the slot on the side of the reader). In theory, you could plug one card into each slot and read them. Not sure if you could copy from one card to the other.I used a SanDisk Extreme SD card, 45Mb/s guaranteed write/read speed and with AVCHD footage (full HD video "mts" files) achieved 2.6 Gb of data in just 2 mins 15sec.Very pleased, it makes transfer of video HD files very quick.

This is by far the best memory card reader that I've bought
This is by far the best memory card reader that I've bought. It is easy to insert the memory card and because it has a short lead, it means that I can't knock this one out of my laptop which is what has happened with my previous ones that just plug straight in. Brilliant little card reader and excellent delivery. I would recommend this

Really useful - Works perfectly. Very pleased.
SO SO Useful. I am always transferring footage from one card to another and always wanting to read more than one SD card - this does the job PERFECTLY. It's very fast like all USB 3.0 readers. Cable length is perfect and it's well made. Now they just need to make one for CF cards please.

easy and solid card insertion and connections - no issues ...
Well made, easy and solid card insertion and connections - no issues with reading cards / loose connections which I had with my old reader. PC will detect multiple cards when inserted which my old reader would not. Excellent value for money.
