Very good value
These are really good quality, if only considerably brighter than the fluorescent ones I already had, as well as a bit cooler coloured, so they might not really match with your existing setup

Great replacement bulb
Never used this bulb type before, but needed a replacement for a kitchen cabinet and found these. So far it has lasted over one year and still going strong.

Very bright... THEY DONT LAST MOrE THAN 6 MONTHS!
Compared to the other lights I have in my kitchen (installed under the cabinets) these are way brighter and whiter. Not a big deal as I prefer brighter lights in the kitchen but you kind of notice that they emit a different light.The other lights were also GX53s 40W equivalents but from another manufacturer.UPDATE April 2018: both bulbs I bought have failed already. this is unacceptable for an LED light, less that 6 months life for a relatively expensive bulb. No mention of warranty anywhere so i guess I'm screwed.DONT BUY THESE!

Lasted 14 months before dying
As with other reviews, these seem to have a terrible service life for LEDs. The claim of 15000hrs the specs make seems completely imaginary. Suspect the heat dissipation is insufficient and its burning out - it does get pretty hot during use

Great LED replacement for this size of lamp.

good light but burns out way too quick
I use these for the driveway underfloor lights and they are very efficient but burn out after a few months, i dont understand why so i have to keep returning them and ordering new ones
