For such an easy to install piece this addition to your home can really transform the look of a room! This is perfect to illuminate hallways as a nightlight to avoid any trips or missteps at night. They also work great to illuminate under cabinets, around vanity mirrors, in kids rooms, in dorm rooms and add mood lighting behind entertainment centers, aquariums or along baseboards. You could even use this behind a toilet tank (I'm not certain if it would work on porcelain under a toilet seat) to avoid any nighttime aiming mistakes but you could try. I put mine around my vanity table mirror to do my makeup and around my bathroom cabinet as a nightlight. I like that this lighting strip is adjustable so that it doesn't blind you when you are using the mirror but it can be brighter when you are not at the mirror as a secondary light source in the room. 13 ft is plenty for most uses and it's a good deal at this price.Pros:-- Easy to install-- Versatile, works anywhere-- Very bright LEDs-- 13 ft is plenty for most applications-- Adheres to almost any surface and can be cut to easily customize-- 800 lumens is a good amount of brightness for most of the applications I've described above and it is dimmable so it can be used for different needs-- Color mode allows you to choose from warm light to bright white light--Remembers the setting you selected so that when you turn the light on you don't have to keep selecting that option.Cons:-- May leave sticky residue behind when removed or moved, can even remove paint but this is the case with most sticky lights that use strong adhesive.-- App is required to access best features-- App can be a bit confusing-- When off the aesthetic isn't super appealing but I put mine around the edges of the mirror so you cannot see them.Overall, I think this is a great lighting strip that is affordable and will work for many different applications.

I’m really glad I chose these lights to attach around my dresser mirror.I don’t have very much light in that corner of my room and these help greatly. They are inexpensive and very easy to install.They arrived nicely protected on a plastic spool.The adhesive runs the full length of the lights and is strong enough to do the job.They also included three little adhesive clips but I chose not to use those.The remote control is one of those typical cheap controls you see with so many different products these days. It doesn’t feel as responsive as I would like, but it does work.There are a few different setting combinations and they’re all nice for different needs.I’m pretty pleased with this purchase

I love the lights, & the three settings. Unfortunately after 2 days three... of the lights went out after, I place them on the mirror.

This is a great little set of LED strip lights. They worked well right out of the box. I was really pleased with the ability to switched from warm white to daylight white (up to 6500K). A lot of light strips that I looked at only did "warm" white, around 3500K-4500K. I wanted something bright and something daylight white and these did the trick. They also have multiple ways to operate them. They come with a remote, which is pretty intuitive and a button on the power cord which will turn them on to the last setting that you used (fine for me, I only wanted them for the brightness). There is also an app called LotusLamp X. The app is just OK as far as I am concerned. It allows you to control the lights within BT range (not WiFi), but it is simple enough to just press the button or use the remote. Considering that, the app is nice, but not really necessary in my opinion, since it is BT only. If it was WiFi, my opinion might change.The only word of caution would be that these are 3-pin LED strip lights. Full disclosure, I have worked with LED lights before, but I would consider my level of intelligence with them to be very basic. After ordering incorrect connectors for them to make 90 degree turns, I did more research and 2-pin and 4-pin light strips seem to be far more common. I guess I assumed they were 2-pin because they were white only and not multi-colored. Live and learn and I will be ordering more connectors. This is NOT the fault of the light strips, but rather a fault of mine. I just figured I would share that information in case somebody finds it useful.Overall, I would recommend them, with the right connectors, of course!

I have trouble seeing in my room with the main light when doing my makeup so I decided to get the vanity lights to help brighten it up in there. These lights are more like those little light strips versus being bulbs. I am torn between wanting bulbs and these lights. I realized though, that these are greeter in the long run because you can use them for multiple things. You can just add a strip to add light on the kitchen, to your tv entertainment center stand, pretty much anywhere that you can stick lights onto.So the versatility won me over and knowing that I can close the spite flaps if the vanity for packing.Not only are the lights easy to use, light weight, and smaller, they also are dimmable so you can control the amount if light you want, giving you options to use it later into the evening. I'm glad to find that these lights are bright enough for my needs. They light up the area evenly and now I don't have to walk to the bathroom to see how my makeup looks in the light.
