What I like most is the instant clarification of what MORE really means. Brian starts with the MORE he’s talking about is regarding our God given potential.As an father of 3, it’s easy to lose sight of a dream. Brian ask a question regarding dreams at the age of 17 ... what were you dreaming about? What are you dreaming about now? Have you lost your dream? I know I certainly need a refresh in this area.Another chapter I love is walk and the war. It’s not just about being a super Christian who turns up to church every week but it’s about HOW you live life. Do you pay your bills, are you kind to others do you love your family ... how are they treated?And what about MORE? It’s not MORE stuff and if you find it to be then you need to see what’s in your heart. The Bible speaks of where your treasure is, Therin lies your heart ... great thing to keep close tabs on.I’m thankful for this book and the thoughts it causes me to ask myself. I want to live a full life and this has helped me think of better ways to do just that.

This book is perhaps one of my favorite book from one of my favorite leaders in the world! Pastor Brian Houston writes from his own personal experience about how faithful God is especially when we choose to trust Him with the course of our lives! Yes, we do go through low points and rough seasons but as Pastor Brian is a testament of, God can redeem and use any situation to mold our future into the grand life He’s planned for us from the beginning! “There Is More” is such a timely book to remind us that we’ve yet to experience all of the goodness of God and that there is always MORE! Buy it for you, for your spouse, for your team, for anyone you can!

God has no boundaries. He isn't limited. Greater things shall we do because we abide in Him and He in us. Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. KJV Ephesians 3:20 reads, "...exceeding abundantly...". So He came to give us life and that life more abundantly. Abundance is a given when you follow Christ, so He wants to give us more; He wants us to expect more. He is willing and able. It isn't about what we want, it's about Him equipping us to do what He has called us to do. We just have to believe, receive and make ourselves available to do His will. To God be the glory!

This book has inspired me to keep moving forward in every sphere of life. I remember listening to Pastor Brian at Hillsong Conference 2017 LA and him talking about “Content, Not Settled”. He talked about not putting a pin somewhere and staying there but to move forward because there is indeed More and Pastor Brian elaborates more on those ideas so brilliantly in this book. As an 18 year old this book brought so much hope and expectancy into my life. The Biblical truths revealed here are simply amazing and are able to help us in our journey while walking with God! This assures me that there is indeed more for the church and more for Christ’s followers. I believe this book will impact this generation and many generations to come with its message of everlasting hope that THERE IS MORE! (I received an Advanced Copy 😊)

I first heard about Hillsong, through their worship back in the early 2000’s. I was working at a Christian summer camp would spend my day off driving 45 minutes to town, where I would scope tower records for their cd’s. I’m pretty sure I bought all that were available. It was then that I stumbled upon Hillsong Church and the teachings of Pastoe Brian. My mind was blown and I was hooked. The favor of the Lord on this man is undeniable, his preaching and writing are a direct download from heaven. If you are looking for a book that will show you the heart of God, this is for you. We live in a world addicted to a scarcity mentality when God always says There Is More!

I enjoy reading what Pastor Brian (the global senior pastor of my church writes). I often pick it up just to see what he is thinking and were his heart is headed. There is More was another solid read. While I can’t say there was anything earth-shattering about this book, it was filled with great reminders that God wants the best for our lives, and then His more is always better than what we can even dream for ourselves.

Brian Houston authored a fresh, new book with a powerful message needed for everyone today! There Is More will be my gift of choice for generations who are before me, with me, and after me. Believe there is always more in the dreams God has for you. Read this with your family, friends, and co-workers. Take it out to Community Groups. Use it in recovery groups and prison outreach opportunities. I’m praying that you Dream Big Dreams, because There Is More!

Simple to understand, yet so many profound truths shared.Pastor Brian shared from his experience, his life and his heart. Nothing gets better than that.This book challenges and the same time encourages us to dive into the ocean of God’s grace which is never ending, never exhausting and more than enough to solve every situation you might face right now.You could drop the book and pick it up at a later time, and still enjoying the truths in every part and every chapter of the book.Nothing more to say than there is more...

Loved this book. you could say that this is a positive thinking book for Christians but argues that God wants to do more for us and thankfully its not to make everyone a millionaire. But there are more dreams more joy more service more love and more giving. But the question is are you ready to live those dreams by putting the work in ? Yes God wants to bless us argues the lovely Brian but its not going to drop into your lap while you watch reruns of neighbors. So this book challenges you to grow in your dreams and expectations but at the same time its realistic and practical while daring you to believe and hope beyond what you could imagine.Indeed the glory days have not gone into the distant past but by the might of God the glory days are yet to come. As a first time reader of his I have to say thank you Mr Houston for your book it deserves to be read a few times. Cheers Mate !

Could hardly put this book down. The best thing to do is just buy it and start reading. You can see in Brian’s writing, his passion to serve, to embrace his God given purpose and to help others embrace theirs.

Loved this book ! Pastor Brian takes us through some of the peaks and valleys of a life lived out in simple obedience, pursuing his God given dream. Together with his amazing wife Bobbie, they have seen God do exceeding, abundantly above all they could ever ask of think ! Just like Pastor Brian, the book breathes out energy and authenticity. I love the way it builds. The last 4-5 chapters were really a blessing to me as a pastor over several churches now for 32 years.

I would highly recommend this book. It has inspired me, challenged me, healed me and taken me deeper. Thank you for taking the time to write it.

My life has always been in the slow lane but maybe it's time to move up a gear and push myself to know God more than I do.
