Very durable
Great sponges, very durable much better than the ones that you buy with dishwashing detergent! I would highly recommend these sponges.

Eco friendly sponge. Will soften after a few uses.
I've been using these Airnex natural kitchen sponges a couple of weeks now and they are holding up well to daily use and have worked on par with and better than my regular blue branded sponges.Yes, they are very very stiff when right out of the packaging but after a few rounds of dishes they will soften up to maneuver as easily as other brands.I love that the scrubbing parts are made of natural materials and recycled fibers and that the sponge part is compostable making this sponge. Also, the packaging in a paper box rather than plastic, making this much more eco-friendly than normal sponges.I was hesitant to use this on my non-stick and on things that would scratch easily but after a few washes I've not noticed any scratches on any of my pans.

A little stiff
For some reason the coconut scrubber side of these sponges are very, very sturdy. Like will not bend, and makes it kind of hard to bend into smaller curves when washing dishes. It scrubs very well and lasts a while, but the stiffness makes it less friendly to use. I wish the scrubbing part was a little thinner.

Good quality sponges
These are some nice kitchen sponges, comparable to similar name brands I've tried. To start with, I love that they're made from all natural materials and are safe for the environment. You get 6 sponges in a box - the sponge side easily absorbs water and the scrubbing side works similar to other scrubbing pads, except in this product it's made from plant materials. I've found the scrubber easily removes caked on food from my dishes and countertops. The only difference I have noticed with these sponges is the scrubbing side is pretty stiff upon first use, which can make squeezing out the sponge a little difficult. However, that's a small price to pay for all the upsides and I'd recommend this product to anyone.

Quality sponges!
These sponges work great for dish washing! The scrubby side gets the food off of my pots and pans without scratching and I finish with the sponge side to make sure my dishes are clean. They feel a little stiff at first, but soften up a little after a few days and work as expected. I've been using one for 2 weeks now and it is still going strong with no problems. I just pop it in the top rack of the dishwasher once per week to sanitize. I love that these sponges and the packaging are made from natural materials that are biodegradable and environmentally friendly. They look and feel like they are made from quality materials. I highly recommend!

Pretty standard; scrubber more likely to retain padticles
The more rough side has not yet scratched various of my unglamourous pieces of cookware. Including non-stck coatings. The scrubbing side is uneven (yes I made sure I'd used a hydrated, softened one), so crustier grime tends to get stuck there, reducing the usable life of the sponge. However if your priority is using plant based material, these are competitive with other similar scrubbers.

Stiff, Abrasive
This package of cellulose sponges with a coir scrubbing layer has its pluses and minuses. The scrubbing side was effective in scouring my porcelain kitchen sink, scraping away a dried spattering of tomato sauce on my gas range drip pans, and cleaning off a few baked-on bits from a CorningWare casserole that the dishwasher missed. But even when wet, the sponges remained quite stiff. When using the plain sponge side, the coarseness of the coir layer made it uncomfortable to hold. Because of how abrasive the coir side felt, I decided not to even try these sponges on any of my nonstick cookware for fear it would scratch it. I plan to use this item for the general cleaning purposes that I described above and not for dishwashing, especially of nonstick cookware or bone china.

Work Just as Well as Regular Scrubbing Sponges
This 6 Pack of 100% Natural Kitchen Sponges / Scouring Pads work surprisingly well for being made from natural and plant based materials. The scouring pad side is made from a coconut fibers and and recycled plant based materials and feels quite a bit more coarse and more stiff than the regular blue scouring pads that we typically use. We found that it needs to be soaked in water for a few minutes prior to use in order to make it a little more flexible, but it does a great job of removing baked on or dried food from pots, pans, plates or cutlery. It did not scratch anything that we used it on.The white sponge side is made from 100% natural Cellulose that's dye and BPA free, and feels pretty much identical to the blue scrubber/sponges both when it's dry and when it's wet. It holds liquid dish soap well and lathers exactly the same as the blue scrubber/sponges, but it's a little harder on your hands because of how coarse the scrubber side is.After one load of dishes, both sides of the scrubber sponges looked pretty much new although we did notice a few coconut fibers/strands in the kitchen sink strainer afterwards.Once these scrubbers have been used up, the white sponge portion can be torn off disposed of in your composting bin, while the scrubber portion just goes in your garbage.Overall I think these AIRNEX Scrubber Sponges work great and are reasonably priced for the 6 Pack, but the scrubber side is a little more harsh on your hands, so they get a recommended and 4.5 out of 5 stars.

They do what they're suppose to do
I find that curved sponges fit the hand just a little bit better than those traditional rectangular sponges, they seem (at least to me) to be easier to hold. These sponges seem to be standing up well in the kitchen, I haven't noticed any scratches or abrasions on glasses from using the coconut fibre side on them, though I'm avoiding using the coconut side on non-stick pans, I just don't want to risk compromising the coating on the pan surface. But other than that, yeah, two-thumbs up on these kitchen sponges.

Safe and non-scratch for most surfaces
Comparing the appearance of this sponge to the normal artificial sponges I use after almost two weeks this one still holds its appearance and doesn't look like I have to get ready and throw it out. This sponge does have a recyclable component: the white cellulose sponge side. On other sponges the scrubbing side seems to be the side that suffers most from wear and tear. This one appears longer lasting and the surface of the scrubber looks almost the same as when it was new. One of these sponges is about $2.00 and a plastic/nylon sponge is about $.75 when on sale. From a break even stand point, since I toss a plastic/nylon sponge weekly, the AIRNEX only has to last two - three weeks. This looks like it will last much longer. My testing usage is close to two weeks and they still look almost brand new. Because the scrubber side is somewhat flatter than a plastic/nylon sponge it takes a bit more elbow grease to get rid of baked on food. When I say flatter that doesn't mean it will not scrub a surface, it's more akin to a different grade of sandpaper. Some are rougher than others. Would I buy these again? Yes.

Well made, wicked cleaning power and they stay together
Ive been using one out of the 6 for about a week now and its been holding up solid. Ive used it for crusted on sauce on the stove top, ive used it inside our main oven and a little convection oven, as well as some glass dish-ware I have and its cleaned it all. Even while wet, these are a lot more firm than the regular yellow sponges ive used and they hold together much better even after a lot of use. The darker more rougher and fibrous side works awesome for the stuck on stuff and I follow up with the whiter side and it works phenomenally well and I haven't had any issues with it.Thus far, ive used it daily and have been rough with it and it hasnt shows any signs of wear, it also rinses out well with warm/hot water.I am also a huge fan of the fact that they are made from 100% natural and recycled fibers, I was execting these to be cheap and fall apart like the other brands ive tried that go the "natural" route, but these are much better then the non-natural name brand ones.Highly recommend these ones.

I'll be coming back for more once these run out
They're working very well for me so far. They get tough cooked-on bits off, but they didn't damage the seasoning of my carbon steel and cast iron. The scrubber side is stiffer than usual sponges but I was still able to bend the sponge right in half to clean thin items like knives. Compared to the standard plastic yellow-and-green sponges I used to buy from the grocery store, these ones are:- Similarly priced, at $11.95 for this 6-pack vs $3.49 for a 2-pack- More environmentally friendly- More absorbent- Feel thicker and more robust in the hand- So far, seem significantly more durableI'm sold. Once I've used up the review sample I'll be buying more normally.
