Presenting "Victorian Mabe" earrings...unique and stunning, these carvings are by Balinese master craftsmen, and are, in fact, one-of-a-kind pieces of art featuring an alluring blue mabe pearl and paua abalone fused to colorful brown-lipped oyster. I framed these lovely carvings in sterling that I shaped to the carving and then oxidized and polished. I wrapped the frame with peacock rice pearls strung on oxidized sterling wire and used small round peacock pearls and mystic peacock spinel beads to embellish the sides of the carvings and above. Mystic blue topaz and tiny blue kyanite drops flank the mystic blue spinel drop beneath the carvings. These wonderful earrings dangle 2.75 inches/70 mm from the top of oxidized sterling ear wires that I fashioned to mimic the swirls you see in the carvings. The colors and workmanship on these beautiful carvings were such an inspiration to me!
