Polycell PLCTC290S Decorators Caulk, 290ml, Set of 1

Seems odd to call something simple as this as WOW.I have never been able to caulk anything without making a mess. Thought I'd give this a go and ordered online as it was cheaper.I was almost shocked how neat it came out and how good it looked. Still messy in parts but thats just me! Far easier, far better control with the caulk gun, no big spashes and stops pouring out when you release the pressure, unlike others ive used.also comes with a screw lid and hole already made in the nozzle (you just had to cut into the actual caulk) saved me time.. Maybe thats why I was able to get it neat due to the already made hole?

Like this product stays firm so you can fill up larger crack paints over well

Does what its meant too but its not really good for painting over like it says.

Dose the job

Used this to redo the silicone in an upstairs shower. Looks great now but it's very sticky so care and perseverance required. Very happy with the results.

I have used various caulk products for projects inside the house that were for "internal" use only. As this one said it is for "external & internal" use, I used it for two projects in the garden, eg filling a few cracks in the shed walls and also a worn groove in a fence panel. I waited for more than the said time for it to harden (the next day), but it remained quite soft. Eventually I painted over.the areas but unfortunately, when it next rained a day or two later, the caulk dissolved and ran down the sides. I have tried it again on very small areas in the garden and the same result happens ... as soon as it rains it all dissolves.
