Q: I have the red. I've been using it on my ankle/calf for 9 months. I'm better but i still have a long way to go. Is d red the best one 4 scar tissue?

Well, I'm no expert, but I can say that I used it on my knee weeks after my ACL surgery. I used the red and it worked so well. I bowl with my right hand, so I land on my left leg and my knee would swell up a bit after ever game. I would elevate and ice it that night and the following day, I would use the wrap. It really helped with provided greater mobility and loosening up that scar tissue. I still use it for my knee, but also for my calves, ankles and feet because I cramp sometimes when I swim. I absolutely love this product.

Q: how often can you use these bands on your elbow for tendinidtis

I use them mostly on my knees. They work brilliantly but it some practice to get the method on. I'm sure I have not done it perfectly but at least for a short time my knees move and feel alot smoother especially after a tough workout. Good price on product and quality material. Get a good guide on methods.

Q: After wrapping how do you get the "floss" band to stay in place? They have no Velcro to hold them just a plain end.

We would suggest going with the thinner (silver) band if the swelling is gone. This will allow you to move your ankle a bit more when going through the normal ranges of motion with the ankle during your recovery process. If slight swelling is still present, and does not need attention from a doctor, the thicker band (black) will help compress the tissue and push out scar tissue, however your ankle mobility will be limited. The important thing to remember is that you should go through the normal ranges of motion with your ankle while the band is on your ankle. We hope this helps.
