This mat is perfect to use as a cooling area for baked goods coming out of the oven. It protects my counter and is totally heat resistant and didn't damage my countertop. I use cooking racks on top. It also gives me extra counter space in my small kitchen. It cleans up perfectly.

This is an excellent non-slip mat for textured shower surfaces. My only complaint is that the non-slip backing begins to separate from the mat after several months use. Use a better adhesive and it would rate five stars.

I am totally happy with this counter protecting mat. It stays put in place, really protects the counter, is large enough for multiple hot items to be placed on it, and is easy to clean.

Lays flat and does not slide on surface

Based on other reviews of similar products I chose this mat specifically because it would arrive ROLLED not folded so it would look good without creases. It was very difficult as there were no CLEAR indications of which side was to go down and which side to go up! One side shiny, one side matte. Finally after several attempts to place it correctly, WE COULD NOT GET IT TO LAY FLAT WITHOUT AIR POCKETS. choosing this product and really regret buying it online. The only thing correct in the description was the size. It was not the least expensive or most expensive but not worth any more time on my part. Keep the money, but GOODBYE Amazon!
