The putty has a great consistency and can be sanded and polished to a relatively glossy finish. It is not as hard or as smooth as Becker's latex spackle, but is more flexible making it much better for flexible and softer surfaces like soft woods and fills for painting restoration. The colors for the most part are a good place to start but will almost certainly need to be integrated. Adhesion is fair to good on porous surfaces not so great on high fired ceramics and other vitreous surfaces. It does case harden when applied thickly, but that is par for the course with these types of fillers. They need to be applied in relatively thin layers.

Modostuc is a flexible, water soluble filler. It's easy to apply, easy to clean up, easy to texture. What's not to like?

I was tired of water-based fillers that shrank, and that solvent base putty that can damage paint, this was the perfect answer. A joy to work with.

Es un producto que ya he utilizado antes para tareas de restauración. Esta vez lo he comprado para rellenar las grietas de un jarrón de cerámica que se me rompió. Es un producto muy fácil de aplicar con una espátula blanda. Una vez seco se puede lijar y pintar. Es de muy buena calidad.
