Flavors on this sauce are spot on. It's not just heat or truffle that dominate the flavors, truffle flavor is mellow throughout. The medium heat is there but not overwhelming. Just mix it with your favorite mayo or homemade aioli and you have yourself one hell of a burger sauce or French fry dip! Will definitely order this sauce again.

My husband and I first picked this up at a Bucc-ees down south and we loved it! It has the right amount of heat, a little bit of smoke, and the flavor pairs well with a lot of stuff. We even put it on cheese toasties!!

Just right on the heat, with a price hard to beat

After having viewed Brian Ambs YouTube channel and saw his review of this "complex" and exquisite sauce, I decided to order this. Upon opening said sauce with a knife in Ambs fashion, took to the spoon with a "cheers" toast and the deliciousness landed. This sauce is on the milder side which is not by any means a negativism in that the flavours are robust, vibrant. The vinegar does not dominate this sauce which is a plus. It has some body or thickness to it. The peppers can be detected but not overwhelmingly and goes well with casseroles surprisingly. Although this sauce is a smidge on the pricey side (8 fluid ounce bottle was $17 USD), it was worth it as it does not take much of this sauce to get a maximum impact of flavour. So I could just dabble a tinge of this sauce every several bites and be in sauce haven bliss factor 10. As far as heat goes it rate it at about a 2/10 (I feel it is a little less hot than franks hot sauce for comparison). Overall A+ product and can tell that David, Chief of Flavor at the Seed Ranch flavor company has a well-thought out, multifariously complex and uniquely yummy sauce. I highly recommend this sauce to anyone. Do not be deterred by the slightly higher than average price tag. This is well worth the several extra quid.

I really like TRUFF (original black truffle version), and was curious about this potential alternative. Turns out I don't like Truffle Hound. It's too Ghost Pepper forward with lingering Ghost Pepper heat, and not much Truffle flavor. TRUFF doesn't contain Ghost Pepper, so it's not surprising Truffle Hound is too hot for me. Now, if you like hotter lower viscosity sauces, then this could absolutely be your jam. I gave it 5 stars because it's good for what it is, and wouldn't be reasonable of me to rate lower because it doesn't meet my TRUFF expectations.

If you love Truff this will be a let down for you. However, it is pretty good. The heat from this is instant, where as Truff is more gradual. I had a hard time tasting the truffles in this hot sauce and felt it was way to thin/soupy. The ghost pepper overwhelms most of the other flavors but imparts a nice smokey flavor. I personally will not buy this again since it's not what I am looking for in a truffle based hot sauce. But I would buy it as a gift for freinds that are not that into truffle flavored sauces.

I really like truffle hot sauce my self and was excited to give this brand a shot since the ingredients seemed very high quality. Its solid but I did find unlike other ones it isn't watered down like at all, so a small amount spread thin goes a VERY long way. Overall a tasty and solid sauce great for chicken, sandwiches, and anything else you want to give a complex spicy taste to.

I definitely liked the idea and the ingredients listed but I didn’t like this sauce. I prefer a thicker sauce, this was too thin. The truffle flavor is there but weak, and the other pepper flavors were very bland.
