Better than expected!
i selected these based on how inexpensive they are and my first surprise was at how well packaged they are - mucha better than I was expecting. Of the 4 I got, the screw threads all look good and have a lubricant/protectant visibly applied already. As pictured, these use a single straight pin to support the inner body. As received, these use double bolts with acorn nut just like Akron and "Tiger Brand" jacks. These jacks do have a different end plate and screw (pictured: Grow Co with square flange, Akron with rectangular) Material thickness is the same, but overall dimensions are slightly smaller. Most significantly, the bearing surface is larger and flush to whatever is behind it. The Akron-style deforms under high load unless it is supported from behind but stays very positively engaged. I have yet to install these and will update with how well this interface works out. Also note that the bearing end of the screw is out of round (pictured).Overall, for the price, these are fantastic. They seem to be comparable to other inexpensive jacks but cost even less. (As others have noted, all of the less expensive jacks are a bit of a juggling act if used horizontally.)

JUNK
Nothing is welded or riveted. Top and bottom plates are not attached. Threaded insert is dropped in and not welded (free to rotate). Pins are undersized and fall out easily. You will need 12 hands and patience to get this 'jack kit' set up. I thought my builders jacks were junk, but these are two levels below that quality.

Everything was as expected
Jack post were used for supporting a beam under an addition, the post worked great and were very sturdy and well built.

Cost effective and does the job
These are basic adjustable floor jacks. I used them for stay in positioned for holding up the house. I can't image reusing them time and time again. I needed a reinforcement point after a main beam was failing due to water issue. These worked great for that purpose. If you are in a tight spot, getting them lined up is a bit of pain because they use resistance to stay together and often in the setup process you don't have that situation. Once in place and lined up, they worked fine.

Strong, well built, and quality!
Had no issues holding up a 25 foot boat while the underside was cleaned and repainted.

You get what you pay for....and sometimes not even that.
Poor quality, smaller inside tube out of round and will not fit into outer tube. Poor quality machining. Cannot recommend.
