PDF Director 2 PRO with OCR - for 3 PCs was reasonably priced and contains a great many useful features for use with pdf documents. I have not yet managed to get it to scan from my Brother MFC printer, nor my Epson V550 because both printers are ten years old, do not run 64-bit software, as used by PDF Director 2 PRO with OCR - for 3 PCs; and, because my PC runs Windows 10, which will no longer run a program called TWAIN, which PDF Director 2 PRO with OCR - for 3 PCs needs to operate a scanner.So, I can process files that I already have, but I cannot scan new ones.So, it doesn't do what I bought it for.I was using Nuance pdf converter 8, bought for £100 ten years ago; but, microsoft recently bought Nuance and shut down my 'owned' software, citing 'cyclical redundancy.' So, my £100 purchase was shut down by microsoft, which intends me to sign-up for an annually renewed contract.
