The pants look great and I am glad to have them to add some safety to chainsaw operation. The helmet is a joke. Even assembly of the ear muffs and face screen is just a series of guesses as there are no instructions and the parts can be installed in a variety of different orientations. I kept studying the small picture on Amazon until I finally hit the right configuration but then stood back and looked at the helmet and wondered why I spent time assembling it. It could be used for a Halloween costume addition in the future, but likely will be donated to get rid of it. Just buy the pants separately and skip on the package deal. Note when buying safety pants that electric chainsaws have more torque than gas chainsaws and require heavier duty pants (more layers) for protection. These appear to be good for gas and electric chainsaws.

I have opened the package and all appears to be of good quality. I have not begun cutting wood again as of yet. I am looking forward to using this safety equipment when I do.

Instructions in printed paper form are NOT included for the helmet. Instead, very un-readable instructions are poorly printed on the plastic wrapping.

This item arrived in good condition and once the hardhat was assembled, the items worked as described. Except for the chaps, I never tried to see if they would keep me from losing my leg if a moving chain saw came into contact with them. Safety first!

The're chaps, not pants. Made in Mexico. The hardhat goes together well enough but the face shield requires the ear muffs to be in and the plastic on the insert of one of the muffs promptly broke, making the shield useless. I'll use the hardhat and chaps but I will not order from these people again.

Having protection and being safe ...thats what this is about..great buy ...dont ever sell yourself short of safety...
