Does not play in USA DVDs or Blu-ray and was refused to be given a refund

Bought these for our grown autistic son as he loves the muppets. We watch with him and laugh too! Still good after all these years.

This would have been great but it does not work in US region. I misread the region and would be better if it stated it larger and more pronounced that it DOES NOT WORK IN US REGION. It was shipped fast and no other issues. Return was easy.

The product description does not make it clear that these videos can't be played in the USA because their region code is different. The only way to find this out is to try and play the DVDs. Once you know that they don't work and try to return them, the seller tells you that they will not offer a refund if the package is opened. We wouldn't know that they were defective and needed to be returned if we did not open them!!! Very disappointed.

My girls ages 6 and 3, have discovered Muppet Babies on Nick Jr. They love them and it immediately brought me back to when I watched the muppets! I thought this was a great deal, how could you go wrong?!?! Until I recieved them and they wont play in my playstation 3, which is how we watch movies! It gives an error code with every single movie. I guess they're not remastered!?!? Error code state PAL, which when googled is typical for playstations. We dont have any other DVD players to see if they play. I will be returning. Extremely and very disappointed!

This listing made this product seem to be US compatible. It was stated nowhere that it wasn't. When I received this DVD box set, I was floored to see that there was a crappy sticker on the front cover displaying it wasn't for my region. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my disabled uncle who loves the Muppets. Now I have to return this and wait a week or more for my refund, and hope I can find him another gift.

Oh.... regions.... didn’t know there was such a thing! Doesn’t work on my DVD player.... my children are so disappointed! I am pretty sure there was no warning “bolded” like there is now when I bought them! Ugh! What a waste of money!

Be aware that the reviews that say theses dvds will not work in a USA DVD player are accurate. I saw the mixed feedback and ordered and tried these anyways they were not compatible. It’s too bad it’s such a great collection for the price.

Unfortunately, I did not look at the compatibility of this box set before purchasing. Little guy is disappointed.

If you want The Muppets Christmas Carol with The Love Is Gone sung by Belle it is not on this set. It’s about time Disney released the full version on Blu-ray but they won’t it will just be kept on Disney+.

The Muppets cause mayhem across 7 movies. Presented in a bizarre order probably thought up by The Muppets themselves, this is a very enjoyable boxset of movies. In the correct order, first up is The Muppet Movie which sees Kermit leave his swamp and go to Hollywood for fame and fortune and meets the rest of the Muppets on the way with cameos from Steve Martin, Richard Pryor and Orson Wells among others and Charles Durning as the villain who wants to turn Kermit into fried frog legs for his restaurant, this is a very simplistic and sweet and charming and funny first movie. The Great Muppet Caper sees reporters Kermit and Fozzie Bear in London when Miss Piggy is framed for robbery. An improvement on The Muppet Movie with Diana Rigg and John Cleese starring it's absolutely hilarious. Muppets Christmas Carol is a classic and one of the best Muppet movies which manages to be both faithful to the original book and a hilarious spoof with Michael Caine giving one of his best performances as Scrooge with Gonzo and Rizzo The Rat narrating. Muppets Treasure Island is another classic with Tim Curry stealing the film as Long John Silver and appearances from Billy Connolly and Jennifer Saunders and is once again both faithful to the original book and a hilarious spoof. Muppets Wizard Of Oz, a poor TV movie and weakest in the set with The Muppets perhaps at their sell by date at this point though it is faithful to the original though set in modern times with Ashanti in the lead and guest appearances from Queen Latifah, Jeffrey Tambor and Quentin Tarrantino, one of the least likely names you'd associate with The Muppets it just isn't anywhere near as funny as what's come before. A reboot is just what The Muppets needed, and The Muppets 2011 reboot movie is a gem and one of their best movies with Jason Segal and Amy Adams starring and introducing new Muppet Walter up against an evil oil tycoon played by Chris Cooper who wants to tear down the old Muppet theatre while sequel Muppets Most Wanted sees Kermit mistaken for an evil double and guest stars Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey. I can't help thinking of Gonzo's ironic line from the song we're doing a sequel from Muppets Most Wanted where he says we're doing a sequel because Disney wants a franchise until Tom Hanks does Toy Story 4! Set doesn't include Muppets Take Manhattan and Muppets From Space but this is a fun set of mostly terrific family movies.
