2016 Honda Accord Sport install & operation review
I would like to first say that the other review that indicated there was an issue with installing the unit in a Honda Accord Sport needs to give other information as I had no issues installing this unit in my 2016 Sport. I love the way the bracket makes the install look factory and it does not keep you from reverting to the old screen if necessary.Installation of the unit is a little more than your standard plug-n-play setup, but the provided cabling makes interfacing with the vehicles connectors a breeze. I was able to complete the overall install in about 90 minutes. I spent time reviewing the plugs in my car and what was provided and then assembled the canbus connections prior to installing the provided cables in the car. The YouTube video and printed instructions they provide are helpful but were not entirely accurate for my install. More on that later if interested.I reached out to support for a few things are thus far they have been helpful and responding to my questions. Running into an issue with the Connect\Disconnect\Voice buttons on the steering wheel at the moment but hope to get this resolved in the coming days. Mode, Volume up\down and track forward\back worked out of the box.I primarily purchased the unit to do wireless Android Auto and I can say it works like a charm. Easy connection and my device pairs quickly when starting the car. I cannot speak to Apple.Installation:Removing the trim from the dash was easy with a standard plastic trim tool. Getting to the two 3/8 bolts behind the AC controls going into the bottom of the stock stereo was a little tricky but doable. When installing the provided plastic bracket for the screen I removed the two screws that went up into the dash pad and then used a little persuasion to fit it into place. The top tabs of the bracket fit into the screw holes so I reinstalled the screws and everything fit nicely. Then it was just a matter of connecting the provided cables and feeding the mess of wires for the new unit north to the bracket.I opted to drill a small hole in the center of the top of the bracket to run the microphone through so it remains hidden behind the screen but in the open air for good call quality. I also passed the provided single USB cable into the center console cubby to keep both the factory and aftermarket USBs in the same spot. Dropped the double-USB cable into the glovebox like the video showed.Operation:I purchased the 6GB\64GB version of the device and so far pleased with its performance. I was able to connect to the hotspot on my phone from the device (opting not to get a 4G plan for the car) and was able to access the Google Play Store for app updates and to install a different music player (PowerAMP) instead of the default music app. The default music app didn't like the folder structure I organize my music in, but the general operation was fine. Connecting my droid via Bluetooth was easy and ZLink launched Android Auto easily.OEM Video Feeds:One thing to note as compared to the instructions is I did run into an issue with the OEM video feed. There is one video output from the provided canbus device and I have found that this feed operates both the factory dash screen and the backup camera; however two different video inputs operate these functions independently. The single video in cable that also has the little blue antennas for WiFi and Bluetooth is the video input for the backup camera. The video input labeled number 1 is for the AUX icon on the Android screen and is the factory screen. I purchased a cheap Y-adapter on Amazon to split the single feed from the canbus and this solved my issue.Final Thoughts:I would recommend this unit as a do-it-yourself kit for anyone looking to upgrade their 8th Gen Accord. This is NOT a paid endorsement, I rolled the dice on this unit being suspect of the other reviews out there and I am glad I did.

CarPlay crashes
I’ve had this product for a little over two months now. It was working pretty decently and my brother and I use CarPlay and Android auto frequently. Within the last few days the CarPlay/Android auto has crashed multiple times. It’ll disconnect and reconnect and sometimes the reconnecting process can take a few minutes. The CarPlay (Zplay or however it’s called) will show up as like an app in the background and give you the option to swipe the app out as if I swiped up from the bottom of my iphone. It keeps crashing and swiping out of the app. I’ve turned the car on and off and I’ve checked for all three types of updates and there were none available. This product was working decently and then randomly crapped out.

What a neat upgrade to the accord
I like how this comes with a full version on android. To use car play use the zlink app. Also the sound quality is a lot better then the original head unit. It also integrates the factory radio. One thing I also liked about this was how responsive the unit was. It made a base model accord feel like a brand new car. I am addicted to spotify and the sirus xm app. I don't really have any negatives on this item. I contacted the manufacturer with questions on the install and the customer service was great which is rare these days. I also now have navigation and car store my personal music from my cd collection. Install took me around 2 hours. The one advantage to this unit over the others is the factory look.

I’ve had this product few days back. Everything working pretty decently except CarPlay z play .CarPlay/Android auto has hang and stop working. The CarPlay (Zplay or however it’s called) will show up as like an app in the background and it doesn't give you the option to swipe the app or reset.I end up sending 180 $ for the installation.I hope I will get door solution or else I need to return it but my installation cost $180 and $80 for removal.I need to pay .....

Amazing device
Its been a month using this display and experience is amazing. Installation took couple of hours. With the help of tech support, did setup correct car model in CANBUS. Had an issue with reading fuel mileage but tech support was able to resolve the issue. AUX app shows the old display options. More day time display brightness would have been great option. Easy to connect to Iphone. Can access reverse camera within 2sec starting the car where as some other brand display takes 20secs. Over all experience is great with this display

Doesn’t fit accord 2.4 models
I had to remove a lot of the head unit to get this frame to fit, unfortunately, this left the head unit not attached to the body, caused all sorts of sounds and rattles. Also the stereo controls do not work to control the screen, only the steering controls work. The call and end call and voice command buttons on the steering wheel will not work either. After talking to the seller about the fit, I was suggested to visit a shop to see if they can fix it and be refunded the cost. The quotes I received costed more than the screen so I returned it
