Works well, little bit noisy when using power supply. Short range but overall satisfied

Ban your leads, get this.
Brilliant for my home use. For the price you would have a job to beat this unit.

More for the 'home user' than 'gigging pro'
I've had this for a couple of weeks now - and I'm very pleased so far. I did have a major issue when setting it up for the first time - my normally quiet rig became very noisy. There was a constant loud hum which I couldn't live with. However, I managed to cure the problem with a dedicated power supply to the pedal. I have a Dunlop Brick and at first I was using this to power the unit along with my other pedals. I experimented by switching to a separate Boss 9v supply and the hum disapeared. I didn't try battery power, but I guess that would also cure the problem. This issue is worth taking into account if you use a multi-power supply to your board and expect to be able to use this in a chain. On the plus side, being free from a trailing guitar lead is excellent - this is my first 'wireless' experience and I'm not going back! Another benefit was being able to sell my floor tuner (TC Polytune) because the built in tuner is good enough. It's not as pleasing to use as the Polytune but works OK. The range of the unit seems good enough, although I've not tested this on stage. As a basic wireless system this unit does seem quite expensive - but if you take into account the fact that you also get a tuner pedal, it ends up being quite good value. The unit itself is quite lightweight and probably wouldn't survive long 'on the road' so I feel this is aimed mainly at the home user (like me) rather than gigging pro.
