Be A Thinker Not a Stinker: A story for kids and the big people they love Paperback – June 22, 2009

I totally loved *Be A Thinker Not a Stinker*! I've read this marvelous book aloud innumerable times, and it's now one of my all-time favorite children's books--right up there with *Where the Wild Things Are* and *Harold and his Purple Crayon*. Elegantly and poetically crafted, beautifully illustrated, and very funny--the story also carries a really important message for kids about being respectful of others. The authors (Sammie and Tudie) are extraordinarily talented and unusually creative children's performers, and this is their first book--so I'm sure that all their young (and young-minded) admirers will be totally thrilled. *Be A Thinker Not a Stinker* is simply delightful, and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Dr. Seuss fans, and children of all ages, will absolutely adore this wise and wonderful story!

I have just finished reading "Be a thinker, not a stinker" by Sammie & Tudie and I LOVED IT!!! Here's why, this book is the antidote to all the well-meaning parenting that is en vogue these days that ends up creating children who are self-centered that no one really wants to be around. This book goes a long way in showing children of all ages how to be and play with others that is way more fun for everybody. The illustrations are great-- colorful lively and contemporary-- even the cool kids will like them. And the text is written in an engaging cadence that is fun to read. I encourage you to get this book for every child in your life.
