Life of the Beloved and Our Greatest Gift

This book was used as part of a study group, I would recommend to anyone. As you read this be aware you could shed loads of tears as you search within yourself on this spiritual journey. Reading through each chapter I felt I had been stripped exposing the self I had been living, once going through that, you see what the true self wanting to be released, you come through the other side New and a much better person. Through Our Brokeness We Can Give Ourselves to Others.

If you have a loved one passed over this is excellent read . Makes you think...

I found this a challenging read - read it for a book club and it led to good discussion

Henri Nouwen is a thought provoking author who will appeal to all Christians and possibly those of other faiths or no faith.

Just reading Life of the Beloved it made me feel very special. Being written in a letter to a friend style was very unusual but it worked very well.

Another great book by Nouwen. Best bit this is two for one.
