Orion's Belt: Birth of the Hunter: Volume 1

Where to start? This book seemed out of my usual comfort zone, but I fancied a change. It marries the troubles of present with a more high tech future, but just as, if not more dangerous future. I don't do spoilers, but be assured that the plot and characters give realism to an unseen future. The action is at times brutal and unforgiving and the language colourful.Could I find a fault, well the military jargon is quite heavy at times, but I think that lends itself to the realism, so thats my fault more than the author's. All round a very compelling read, and I have already purchased the follow on. Good stuff.Robert Southworth author if The Ripper Legacies and Spartacus Chronicles.
