The media could not be loaded. We renovated the bathroom across from our house I finally got the freestanding bathtub I wanted. Buying the materials myself felt like a better choice than having everything done by someone else, I got to pick what I wanted. The installer who helped install the tub said the adapter was nice quality and sturdy. We tested it afterward there were no leaks. We’ve been using it for about a month now there haven’t been any signs of water on the floor. It came with the necessary fittings and installation instructions. Overall I think it’s a good value for the price and it works just fine.

The media could not be loaded. The brass tailpipes had a solid and well-made feel to them, which is precisely what you want when dealing with something as important as a bathtub drain. Due to the fact that brass is recognized for its durability and resistance to corrosion, I am convinced that these components will continue to function well for a considerable amount of time, especially if they are often exposed to water. My immediate reaction was one of skepticism when I thought about placing plastic in a location that would see significant wear over time; yet, it seems to be of great quality and is built to endure. To answer the question of whether or not brass and PVC are durable over the long term, I believe that the combination of these two materials creates a wonderful balance between strength and flexibility. The fact that the kit has components that are resistant to corrosion and leaks over time is something that I really appreciate. Despite the fact that I am not a licensed plumber, I undertake a good deal of do-it-yourself jobs related to home renovation. In light of this, I was pleasantly delighted to find that the process of installing this kit was not only easy but also quite simple. I did not have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to set everything up since the kit comes with instructions that are easy to understand. In addition to being compatible with my freestanding bathtub straight out of the box, the components were able to be assembled without any difficulty and did not need any changes beforehand.

The media could not be loaded. Picked this up for our bathroom reno, needed a drain for the new tub. Gotta say, it’s pretty comprehensive. All the bits and pieces were there, even some extras which was nice. That PVC adapter made hooking it up to the existing pipes way easier than I thought it'd be. The metal flange feels sturdy, should hold up well over time. That test cap came in handy, made sure everything was water-tight before we sealed it all up. Now, the instructions weren't the greatest. Took some head-scratching and a couple YouTube videos to figure out the best way to put it all together. The blue cover's a good idea, but it was a pain to get off without scratching anything. One thing - the screws it came with weren't great for our tile floor, had to make a run to the hardware store. If you're handy and don't mind a bit of trial and error, this kit'll do the job. Just maybe set aside more time than you think you'll need for install. It's definitely saved us some cash compared to calling in a plumber, so that's a win. Decent drain kit that'll get your tub hooked up, but be prepared for some DIY challenges along the way.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The installation was easy and fit much better. Then what came with the free standing tub. Well worth the purchase.

This drain works perfect for the freestanding tub, one thing to make sure your aware though is, make sure you have around 5 inches or so from the top of your P trap hook up to the top of the floor.. otherwise your drain will be above the floor. It’s around 4.5 inches from top to bottom. Just making everyone aware to prepare rough in … sometimes you don’t have a lot of room in floor joist to do this.

I was able to install this in our new bathtub with minimal effort and it took minimal amount of time
