The main issues here are design based. The unit tips when the slide is open and there is a disk. The logo and font are hideous and frankly unnecessary. The USB cable sits badly when attached to the computer. Otherwise plain black is nice, and it feels decent quality.But it arrives next day, it works, it is is quick, and it costs fluppence.Bargain.

First impressions are very favourable. I needed a disc player because I have a recent iMac with no player. Works first time plug&play. Tested CD, DVD and DVD +RW (self recorded on an LG DVD recorder). I did need to install VLC to get the latter to play.I have burned a photo to a CD no problem. As yet, no luck in burning a video to a DVD+R disc but most likely this is a Mac software issue (or operator failing!) rather than a problem with the external drive.I thought the supplied cable may be too short but it is just right to fit under my iMac screen.

A bit light wight requiring solid case to preserve but works OK

My laptop's internal DVD broke so I bought this drive and I'm so happy with it.First thing that attract my attention was the design; It looks modern and fits my laptop's colors. It is also so light and pack very tidy so there is no extra cables or chargers to carry with.Performance wise, it is very fast and quite. It required zero installations on my Windows 10. And worked as soon as I plugged it in.Very good product all round.

Does what is says. Would recommend. Not 5 Stars due to the following points. 1) USB lead very short. 2) Quite loud.

A bit flimsy but OK for the price & for occasional use. Important to connect it via a powered USB socket/hub - otherwise it won't work.

good value external DVD drive. Cable perhaps a touch short, but the product works well so far.

Does what it says and looks decent.
