Mix, Mix, Mix!
I was a little apprehensive buying this with some of the reviews, however for myself it worked brilliantly. Some advice, mix it well and keep mixing it, get someone to help if your energy drops !It has a rather unhelpful guidance saying fill to the top of the tin or until the required viscosity is reached... whatever than means!Anyway a further tip is not to fill the tin to the top, you prob can but it will increase curing time. I left around 2 inches spare and within 12 hrs the surface was rock hard and dry.So Mix, Mix, Mix and under fill! Good luck!

Stay away from this.
Used this to seal stone and cement edging around the top of the pond so the alkalis wouldn't bleed into the water . Left it to dry for a week and filled the pond and it leaves an oily slick on the water surface. I am pretty sure this is not going to be healthy for any fish I put in it. I really don't know what to do about it. I put so much work into it and it looks like I am going to have to rip it all out and start again. Says its water based which obviously is a lie or there wouldn't be an oily film. (Proved this by just dripping some washing up liquid on the surface and it dispersed) Draining the pond and giving it a good scrub with detergent, with a good rinse and dry (including the paintwork) to see if I can get rid of it.

It did what I wanted it to do
I had a very small hole that I couldn't find in my pond so I painted the inside with the product and it solved the problem

Lies
This is incredibly poor - they claim the paint is water based and fish friendly- treated the top of my pond and with the rain run off their is now a layer of oily residue on the surface of the pond and the koi are gasping for air. Looks like I am gonna lose my fish - DO NOT BUY this

Works
It works, costs a bit for a tub you must use all of the contents in one go but it's good drys quick and sets strong

Takes longer than expected to set
Allow more than 1 week from painting to filling. Longer in cool weather. I expected it to behave like fibreglass resin and allowed four days. It does say up to 7 days on tin but it felt dry and seemed to have set. However, when wetted still rubs off with hand and leaves oily film on water. Have now ordered a pond liner as not sure if Pond Paint will do the job.
