I ordered this "Pin the Star on The Fairy" game because my daughter has asked for a fairy themed party for her fourth birthday. On the one hand, it is exactly what it claims to be, an image you tape to a wall, and stickers that a blindfolded participant can attempt to stick on the picture. In this fairy version of the game the goal is to stick a star on the end of the fairy's wand. It's a lovely idea, but this product somehow misses the mark.The fairy image on the poster is a solid black silhouette, and the star stickers are also black stars. This means they are bold, high contrast shapes, but they don't match the fairy vibe at all. An array of colored stars, and a flower fairy in pastel hues rather than the stark silhouette that looks like a free clip-art shape would be a big improvement. As such, I'm going to keep it on hand in case I run out of other ideas, but it isn't the party game I was hoping for. An exactly as described, but somehow disappointing 3 out of 5 stars.
