I used this along with a watch clamp, was easy to use and unfastened most of my watch backs, except for 1 larger diesel watch that the back was too large for the tool, otherwise a really good tool to have to change your own watch batteries

Incredible! Examine the device carefully (note, for example that the pins are held in if pushed firmly in) and get a good idea of how it operates. Fasten watch firmly in some sort of vice (I used a workmate!) but don't distort the case or risk damaging the winder. Wind all the pins in to smallest position and plkace device gently on watch back. Unscrew horizontal pins until the two pins at the 2 o'clock and 10 p'clock positions are engaged and then unwind the third pin until the pin is engaged at the 6 o'clock position. Press down quite firmly and gently turn anti-clockwise. Simples! I tookthe back off an ancient Seiko chronograph with no difficulty. A lovely little tool.

It opened and tightend the back on my Pulsar watch. It's more expensive than a lot of similar watch back openers, but I am not sure if it's better quality.

excellent bit of kit for the money. im sure there are more secure alternatives out there but at a significantly higher price. if you just want to be able to change your own batteries or general cleaning. recommend

Don't attempt to unscrew a case back with anything like scissors or other substitutes for a dedicated tool despite what you can find on web hacks because you will very likely scratch the watch. Even with a proper tool it can take a lot of force to unscrew a waterproof back. This is good German quality and there are four different types of bits which will probably fit 99% of backs. I would avoid very cheap imitations of this tool unless you don't cherish the watch. Use carefully and methodically!

I'll make short and simple. The item that i received is not what it should have been. I bought before tools from Berger&Schroder and i can honestly say that what i received was not a Berger&Schroder. But hey Amazon UK did their part and refund me but nonetheless when you buy this item or any other good be careful on what you buy.

Perfect item, once the correct bits where selected it opened the back of a very tight divers watch with no problem at all and without leaving any mark. Just goes to show you get what you pay for. Works best with the same manufactures watch holder.
