There's a new house next door. The owners have a lawn service that uses a powerful side blow mower. They also weed wack along the fence and use a powerful blower to push cuttings up to fence. The small debri/very fine organic material blows thru the fence and into the pool-perfect food for algae. It's so fine the net won't get it, so I resorted to putting a fine material over the net and it still took days to get it out. By that time the mowers were back! Although this screen is somewhat transparent it is actually pretty solid. The trim is attached well and the grommets are good. I made the screening as taught as I could, I used larger zip ties on the top and landscape stakes to hold the bottom in place. I then added extra pine bark chips along the base of the fence to help hold it in place. It looks great and I'm sure it will keep the organic 'dust' from flying into my pool. The price was great. Now to see how long it will hold up. But at this price, if it lasts only a few yrs, I'll be happy.

Neighbors had an old wood fence and we put up a chain link fence on our lot to ensure our dogs didn't get through. We never thought we would have to put slats so it wasn't built strong enough to withhold the winds we get here. It's an adjacent lot we own so we mostly have used it for the dogs to run. But, they took down their wood fence last year since it was falling down anyway. They have dogs, we have dogs. Lots of barking. When I saw this at such a reasonable price I jumped on it. Pretty worried about the wind but this said wind could go through it. A reason I only got 4ft instead of 6 ft. My husband always goes the extra mile to secure things which is why it has extra poles to brace the fence and thin rope to hold the screen in place in anticipation of our heavy winds. The 50x4 ft screen is as described and it has already helped calm down the dogs. Yes, you can see through it but not at an angle. If it makes it through the winter (I think it will) it will have been well worth it.

We ordered the screen for our fence to keep our dogs from barking at people walking on the street. Installation was easy and it looks great. The only mod I'm doing is adding stainless steel tie wraps to keep them from breaking in the winter. Very happy!!
