Nice quality but had some debris jammed in it
I always carry a pocketknife, and I always carry my work keys on a carabiner on my belt loop. I though I'd try killing two birds with one stone and getting this. The good: It seems to be really nice quality - it's HEAVY, and the finish seems good. The blades are sharp, and it's a pretty clever design. The bad: It's almost TOO heavy - like, so heavy that I'm concerned it'll rip my belt loop off my pants if I use it everyday. The locking mechanism for the blades is finicky and stiff. The locking collar for the carabiner itself is a bit gimmicky and unnecessary - it's really only a thing for climbing carabiners, which this absolutely is not, and it's kind of a hinderance for a keychain (I work in a secure facility and probably clip/unclip my keys on and off my belt 20+ times a day to scan through doors - it wouldn't be practical to screw/unscrew the collar every time I needed my keys). Lastly, there was some kind of debris wedged in the one I received - it almost looked like melted plastic had dripped into the channel under the blades then hardened or something? I was able to dig it out with some picks, but it took off most of the finish in that spot.So overall, it's nice quality, but not terribly practical in my case. If you were going to clip it to your camping pack as a "just in case" item and forget about it until you needed it someday, then sure. But if you need to open/close it a bunch throughout the day, I'd skip it.

Nice Carabiner Multitool - Clip It and Forget It
If you watch my review, you’ll see my first impressions let me to give it 5 stars. I still will. However, I’ve had some thoughts since then I’ll add here as well.First of all, this is indeed a quality product. It’s heavy and doesn’t feel like it’s going to break anytime soon. It comes with a little carrying pouch… unnecessary since you will likely have the carabiner clipped somewere but still nice… I’ll use it for something else. All the tools are in there nice, tight, stiff. This is a good sign I think… seems like an indicator of the workmanship. As for the carabiner part itself, I think it'll hold a sufficient amount of weight. Granted, with the various built in tools, the weight limit is undoubtedly compromised. Still, I think it'll do a good job of carrying a sizable load.My new followup thought is this: I wish that there were different or more tools on this; a second blade, a mini ferro rod and removable striker, or something else. The only reason I’m saying this is that, it seems like every edc multi-tool has the same things all the time. You only need so many bottle openers and I doubt I will ever use the “rope/seatbelt cutter” functionality. (To be honest, I don’t even think it would work anyway).Regardless, I do believe that this is a good product in general, especially as an EDC if you don’t have other multitools already. And it’s always good to have redundancy too. So I think having this carabiner is always a good idea. Clip it on your pack and then it’s always there if you need it. I just wish that, as heavy as this is, they added another blade. I would have preferred that over the little cutter. Just some thoughts… not trying to be picky, but something for the vendor to consider in version 2.0.I’m still happy though. 5 out of 5!
