This is a quality foundation for warmth layering with good thickness. If you wear under a heavier top and a medium jacket above that you'll be good down to low-40s. Both the price and the quality are excellent.I'm 5 ft., 8 .5 in., 180 lbs., slim waist, relatively broad shoulders and chest. Medium fit just right for a layering foundation, snug but not overtight. They loosen up just a little after washing.I got the 5-pack, mock turtleneck (recommended) and reordered a second set. If they produce a navy/dark blue and gray/charcoal I will order more.

I am between a medium and a large. Spandex with synthetics dosen't shrink in the wash, so I ordered a medium. I feel like I'm wearing a bodysuit and find it tight. Otherwise they are very nice. They are very stretchy and good to wear as an underlayer to keep the winter chill from going down your neck. It's a great value to get five.
