Don't waste your money
If I could give it ZERO STARS I would. I am tech savvy having been in the IT profession for years and can muck my way through even the worst of devices and their instructions. This is a horrific device. The display is much too small and for some dumb reason I thought this was going to be bigger. I'm at a loss to understand why the reviews are so good and it was the positive reviews which helped me make my decision. Maybe it's defective as it seems to shut off after only a few seconds, or so it seems. When it dims using the power saver screen, it is so dim you cannot see it at all and I have attempted to find it in the settings where I can adjust the brightness.....couldn't find it and the instructions were useless. Not to mention the fact that every - single - time you either come out the menu function, the stupid thing begins recording a new session. Deleting is also burdensome.UPDATE - Attempted several times now to get Amazon to get UPS to pick this thing up. Yesterday requested this AGAIN and NOW that option to try again is GONE from the page. I've done my part....the package has been awaiting pickup for two weeks now and UPS comes and drops off but does not pick up this thing and AMAZON IS SILENT. NOT MY FAULT and placing this in reviews is my only option. Keeping all documentation to provide to my CC company should Amazon say they never received it.I think going back to shopping at box stores is a better idea especially for return process.

Records great
Picks up great recordings in meetings. Has a pretty good built in speaker. But navigating the recorder isnt the most user friendly..I dont need it to do anything fancy. So for me its great! Quality recordings.
