I haven’t worn many pencil skirts in the past decade bc I gained weight after having my daughter & I didn’t feel comfortable wearing a fitted skirt & if I’m being honest I don’t like the way my legs look either. But when I saw this skirt it seemed like the perfect way to test the waters bc of the length & slit. I’m so glad that I decided to order this skirt, it’s absolutely gorgeous on & can be dressed up or down. It’s made from a ribbed knit that is not only stretchy, but it also covers dimples & other flaws. I’m typically a medium but I decided to order a large so it wasn’t too tight for me, but I think I would’ve preferred the medium. Bc of how stretchy the skirt is, I’m pretty sure I could’ve easily fit into the small as well, but that definitely would’ve been the slim bodycon type style I was trying to avoid. I think this skirt runs very true to size & if you go by the measurements in the size chart, you’ll end up with the perfect size. My only worry with the large is that it may stretch out as I wear it bc the waist would start to fall lower which could potentially ruin the entire look & fit of the outfit. I plan on washing this skirt & drying it on low heat to see if I can get it to shrink a bit. The large still looks really nice on despite being larger than expected. there is a little bit of extra room but it’s not very noticeable & bc of how stretchy the skirt is meant to be, it still has a body skimming style it’s just doesn’t have to stretch in order to fit. I absolutely love the fit in the front despite the super high waist. I’m short at 5’2 & also have a short waist, so this is a fairly common issue for me. Even so, I like the look of this skirt with all different style tops; from body skimming crops that hit right at the top of the skirt to cropped blouson styles & even slightly longer tops & sweaters worn untucked or front tucked. The fit in the back is where I think the differences between the medium & large are more visible. The large skims the top middle of my booty, but instead of highlighting my whole booty & following the shape of it, the skirt drops straight down from the middle of my bum. Again I think this extra room is there bc the skirt doesn’t have to stretch out at all. But when it comes down to it, I feel like I’ll be way more comfortable & confident with it being a little too large than it being too small & having the complete bodycon style. But if I end up wearing this skirt often & decide to order a different color I will definitely order a medium. I plan on wearing this skirt with knee high brown scrunch boots or black 5” platform booties & I’ll probably sheer black hose either way to cover the parts of my legs I don’t feel comfortable showing. I’ve tried the skirt on with both & both look great, although my go to for this skirt would probably have been pointed toe pumps prior to having my daughter. I may still try to wear this with heels if I find pantyhose that have cover while still being sheer. All in all I highly recommend this skirt, it’s absolutely gorgeous in person & on, it’s ridiculously comfortable & the material is so soft, breathable & stretchy. Not to mention how well it’s made & the price point which I find to be very fair for the beauty, versatility & quality of this skirt.

Okay friends, this skirt just works. It’s rare I find a midi that’s not too long that fits comfy.The ribbed design plays well for concealing those areas we don’t necessarily want to empathize. Just enough stretch to provide a flattering fit without being too tight. While the side slit gives just enough to add visual interest, not hiked all the way up to there allows for versatile wear in many settings.Wear how you like. But honestly… heels, flats, cute open toe sandals or a pair of sneakers all seem to pair well.I found the sizing the seller provided to be accurate which is always appreciated.For reference I’m barely 5’ tall, 34DD - 27”W - 36”H at approximately 122lbs. The skirt hits just about in the middle of my calf and ankle.Washed on delicate inside a laundry bag, lay flat to dry helps retain the shape.Priced fair for the quality. This Midi Skirt is beautiful I can say. I can easily dress up or down with it. The material is thick enough to use in Fall or even Winter season, a little too thick for summer. I am 5"7 and 150 lbs for your reference. For casual look I pair it with a crop sweater or crop t-shirt, and for more formal and elegant look, I will top it with a dressy blouse. The slit on the side is not too high, so I can wear to church comfortably. The ribbed material makes me look slimmer while have it on, however after a wash it tends to attract a lot of lints. The waist band is comfortable and stretching good. I really like this dress as it's super easy to put on and take off. Perfect for moms who need something comfy but still look good besides leggings for quick errand run or picking kids up from school.

All the other reviewers seem to love this skirt, but I didn't think it was that great. I mean it is a skirt, basic or "classic if you want to call it that. I wasn't terribly impressed with the quality, its not the worst, but its not the best either. Somebody asked me if it was inside out. I just didn't find it particularly flattering, perhaps it just doesnt look good on me personally. I dont know. I can only say, if a friend asked me if they should get it, I would probably say no. But again, everyone else seems to love it so, maybe its just me
