I'm so glad I chose this fan after much deliberation because it does exactly what it's supposed to and I wasn't left broke at the end of it. It's really hard to purchase something that you can't try out first but I can honestly say this fan is a must in any home. Basically it has 3 settings and it oscillates from side to side or is static depending on whether you press the oscillating button or not! Most importantly it's quiet and it keeps you cool. I have a granddaughter who is autistic and cannot cope with noise but this fan is really quiet even when turned on full and with the oscillating button on. My granddaughter and I were both able to sleep undisturbed with the fan on too. The degree of cool air is amazing and I doubt anyone would need to use it on full because it really does produce cold air flow even on the lowest setting. It does NOT however, come with a remote control but we are such a lazy nation I think this is a good thing! It does not have a sleep mode either so if you wake up and find yourself in Antarctica you will have to manually press the off button!The Tower Fan is really light weight so should pose no problem when moving it around your home. The only assembling you have to do is to attach the base using the 4 small screws that come with it which is no problem and I'm disabled. I am very impressed with this Tower Fan and I'm very happy to recommend it to everyone.

This oscillating Tower fan gives out very powerful cold air and most of the time only needs to be on number 1 on thedial as 3 is the highest and only needed for very hot days!It's used in my lounge and more than sufficient for the size of the room which is quite big!The downside is that it can't be left on all night for bedroom use and I wish that I had purchased the fan that can beleft on for 2 hours then switches itself off. Still a good buy and would recommend!

DO NOT BUY!! Brought this for my grandparents on their who are bith in their mid 80s and after one use it blew up with a bang and sparks flying from the bottom. Luckily no further damage was done, but could have been alot worse

Great powerful fan which does everything you want. Not silent but not intrusively loud. The only thing is that you need the correct screwdriver to screw on the bottom!

The media could not be loaded.  Can I just say this is the best fan I have baught ever!!! It is amazing value for money and very silent. I first baught pne for my mum because it was a good price! And after my more expensive noisey one packed up I bought one for myself and I am extremely happy with it !!! Fantastic

Ideal for bedroom as quite silent, very pleased and cools room on low setting.
