SunwiseWaterloo Sunglasses

Good glasses very clear, however it took a bit of getting used to as initially they gave me a strange sensation of either being underwater or having a slightly unnatural focal length which had the effect of making me feel a bit dizzy and whilst driving slightly nauseous. after wearing them for driving after a day or two I had adjusted to them and I really like them now. I have no idea why they gave this sensation but I understand some polarized lenses can have this effect on some people. I also own several other pairs of Polarized glasses from Oakley and Maui Jim and have not had this sensation with those glasses. Anyway I am now a fan of Sunwise and I believe they make good quality, good value sunglasses, packed full of feature for considerably less than other brands. They are also British owned and British made.

Already had the interchangeable lenses in Windrush and thought I'd try these out. Step changes are unnoticeable but going from sun into shade takes longer than I would like particularly when going into a wooded area with ground obstructions. Great fit and very light on the face. I bought these heavily discounted, not sure they are value for money at full price over the Windrush

I was wary about wearing sun glasses playing golf but after a session on the putting green ventured out onto the course. After the first hole foregot I was wearing them. Nice firm fit and keeps the windy off your eyes too. Now in the bag.

No problem at all with company who I bought then from (they were excellent), but BIG issue with the actual Sunwise product. Had previous model (chromofusion 1.0 Light levels 1-3) for circa 4/5years but the new lenses just cannot cope with bright sunlight anywhere near as well as the old pair. Contacted Sunwise and was told they changed manufacturer for the lenses and have now focused more on concentrating on the changes in light from a low level. So in short perfect for normal UK weather, but if going on holiday abroad or when the sun appears in the UK - no use at all. As I say, no issue with the company I bought them from, they have delivered as promised would use them again no problem.

As expected. No problems and easy to wear as very light.

Great glasses for what I paid at the time. I think the company now has upped the prices and I am not sure it still maintains the value for money proposition.

Sunwise sunglasses are not very ‘robust’, this is the fourth pair that have ‘brken’ In the same place in the last year or two.
