Note
Only one thing I found is the chips make it bulky and not suitable for hp G5 studio

Perfectly good kit, but the shield may be slighly too large to fit inside a revised steam deck
Bought this for my steam deck, in case I broke the SSD shield it came with.I didn't break the shield so I didn't need to use it, but a quick test fit showed that it might be slightly too big. I mean slightly - it seemed to be only a mm or so too big, so it could just be an error or misjudgement on my end. The motherboard cover looked like it'd "bulge" a bit over the shield. My deck has revised internals, so it may be different for the original board. TBH it would probably be fine to use, but I didn't want to risk it since I got my SSD shield off without breaking it. I will say, fitting this shield would be easier than the inbuilt one, since it doesnt wrap around it but instead goes on top.The build seems fine, it is just a copper shield. The tools it came with where very useful, the pick has extra design stuff to make it easier to use when opening the steam deck, and it feels very sturdy. The screwdriver also worked perfectly well, and had a magnetic tip to not lose any screws. It came in a nice case as well, and it had enough room for me to put a small USB stick with steamOS on it. I didn't need to use the replacement screws, so I can't judge those. If you're repairing/upgrading the deck and you need tools this is a very good option, and as I said - the shield is probably fine to use if you lost the original one.I'd give this 4.5 stars if I could.

If you have a guitar pick and a philips screwdriver no need for this!
Yes the package is what it seems like on the picture but in a small transparent plastic container. I only used the triangle pick for dismounting backplate. I tried the screwdriver but it harmed the screw tips and it is not easy to use. I didn't want to risk to use the thermal paste and the thermal plate and used the default covers for the ssd. If you want spare parts and don't have a pick this product is perfect. Otherwise especially for a screwdriver it is not a good option.
