Unfortunately not a direct replacement for dimmable halogen. Lots of flickering and takes a while to find the ultimate brightness on the dimmer as maximum leaves it quiet dull. I'm sure it would be fine with dimming LED specific hardware but would not recommend for anyone needing a direct replacement for an older lamp.

Happy with this product, seems well made and reasonably priced. Won't know for a while of course how long they last until one does fail. But at the moment all is good. They give a good light colour ( I needed cool white around 4000k) and good spread of light. Would buy again assuming the life span is as seller predicts.

I've bought many low voltage "Similar" bulbs in the past but they either fail quickly or the lumens are no where near the claimed rating, I found these a little while ago & they are simply Superb!!, I won't purchase any other make now. Money Very Well Spent!!!.

Not as described. Do not directly replace 50W halogen lamp (unless of course you want to sit in the semi-dark that is). Perhaps the sellers should test their product a little more before making such claims? Very disappointed, these bulbs have transformed what was a small bright room into a dingy environment. Have tried other types of dimmable MR16's but they aren't much better.

Product exactly as thought. The bright daylight is really refreshing and it's dimmable as well. Will be ordering few more soon to replace the halogen bulbs. Thanks for a great product.
