Works just fine for powering a XR Elite headset by itself. Allows for an extremely light on the head all-in-one or tetherless PC streaming experience with the XR Elite battery detached. The included wire anchor can be attached to the Elite's battery cradle if using it, however the right side no-battery head piece comes with an anchor already as shown in the included picture.XR Elite battery is 5000 mAh so the Carina can double use time if used alone or go up to a combined 15000mAh (minus efficiency loss of the Carina discharging to charge the XR Elite battery).Fit and comfort wise I'm a slim 30" waist and the small band is a secure fit, even enough slack to tighten maybe another inch or two if needed.Only negative I have is if using across the shoulder. The strap can be a bit abrasive on my neck/shoulder skin but a couple inches of added soft wrap or padding is not a hard fix.

In my quest to extend the life of my Quest 3 playtime which is really terrible, I tried Carina W1 by courisity , and it's been a cure for me. Here's the lowdown on this little marvel:Pros:Wearability Factor: It's a great idea to have a wearable power source. The Carina W1 hugs my body like it's made for it. I would prefer wearing it on my waist, but slunging across my shoulder works fine as well. I feel this is very personal.Charging Efficiency: This unit charges at warp speed without turning into a miniature sun. It feels like it powers up my Quest 3 faster than the grid itself, all the while keeping its cool. That's a big win in my book for usability and comfort.Endurance Like No Other: The battery longevity is simply astounding. What used to be a paltry 2-hour VR session is now an 5-hour saga. It's transformed my VR experience from a sprint to a marathon. I am planning to do some creative work and I think this will help.Cons:Battery Check-In: The only niggle is the battery level check. Having to press a button to see how much juice is left feels a bit inconvenient. Guess I'm nitpicking here, but still want to point out.Conclusion:The Carina W1 is the ally every VR gamer didn't know they needed. Its intuitive design, quick-charge capability, and marathon-like battery life are nothing short of a VR revolution. Here's to the end of battery anxiety and the beginning of boundless VR journeys!

BATTERY DURATIONThe Quest 3 has a pathetic battery. I'd be lucky to get 1.5 to 2 hours but with this I now have probably 5 to 7 hours on them.FITI'm slim so I got the smaller sized one which fits very well around my waist but is too short to comfortably wear around your shoulder, so bear this in mind if you intend to wear it on your shoulder; probably safer to get the larger size.CHARGING TIMETakes a little over 3 hours to fully charge these.So happy I got this as I now no longer feel like I have to rush through doing things on my Quest in fear of the dreaded low-battery warning. I love it so much I'm recommending it to my friends who have the Quest headsets.

I returned this and instead got a 33,800mah battery pack for $23 with an angled usb-c cable. It gave me more capacity for cheaper.
