I expect that most cats, especially indoors cats (as I have), enjoy watching the outdoors. I have windowsills that my cats can sit on to watch the outdoors, but having a perch for them is much nicer since this allows them to lie down and look outdoors, as well as take a nap in the afternoon sun.The instructions were easy to follow and fairly quick, although I did get confused looking at the parts list: It showed two long plastic tubes that I didn't have, but then realized it included those two plastic tubs "OR" (as per the instructions) included four shorter metal tubes instead. I have the four metal tubes, so all good!At the top, the perch attaches to a window edge via two small, thin, black brackets; in one of my photos you'll see one of the black brackets. On the bottom, the perch presses against the wall via adjustable side supports that click into place. The placement is very well held in place, solid.In case you're interested, the overall dimensions of my perch (large beige) are about 23 3/8" wide x 14 3/4" deep. The furry surface that the cats use is 20 3/4" wide x 14" deep, and is very soft.Since I tend to pamper my cats a bit, I pushed a bench next to the perch so the cats could gingerly get into the perch, as opposed to one big leap.

This window view perch has a decent bedding to lay on. It is however a bit thin but its removeable for washing. It's place on by Velcro. The plastic on this tray does look cheap but it does function and holds up well. Mine comes with 4x tape mounts, should you need to move this to another location. It also comes with the L bracket. I would say the price does fit its quality and function. Anything more than $30, then this is not worth it.

This is a well thought out product. Easy to put together, easy to take off the hammock for washing as well, a welcome feature. Soft material, our kitten likes it. Really like how this is designed to clip over a windowsill, and it works great on ours. But note that you need some kind of a gap to hook it in, or some sliding windows might require hanging it off the window track, preventing opening the window while in use.

This cat purch is one the easiest to assemble. Comes with four metal poles that slide together and loc, plus four pins. The sides are made of durable plastic. The poles connect into the side pieces and then are locked in place with the pins. No plastic poles or having to thread piles of through tiny thin sleeves. The cover is attached by folding over the poles and connecting ends to the sewn in durable Velcro.I would recommend this perch if you have multiple cats. It looks like it would be able to take the weight well.
