This review evaluates the “24 Inch Heavy-Duty Stainless-Steel 4,500 PSI Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner” made by MEKOH.The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging. There is not much to this item out of the box: one (1) 24 Inch heavy-duty stainless-steel 4,500 PSI pressure washer surface cleaner, five (5) solid brass Quick Connectors, (2) two spare sets of replacement nozzles and rubber O-rings, one (1) roll of Teflon tape, one (1) tool kit, and user instructions.First impressions: Beefy. Solid. Stainless Steel. The spraying unit comes almost fully assembled (you just have to assemble the handle) with everything you need plus some spare parts. This unit is extremely well made, all components are stainless steel and brass. The circular frame sits on four swiveling castor wheels that roll smoothly and effortlessly in any direction. Underneath there is a stainless-steel rotating pipe with dual angled spray jets that are replaceable (two spare sets are included). Around the bottom circumference is a nylon fringe skirt that does an extremely good job of preventing unwanted overspray.How did this unit perform? In one word – Excellent! I have another smaller (16.5”) surface washer and where this one differs is that it has the spray handle integrated with the push handle making it ergonomic and effortless to maneuver. We have been having an unseasonably warm spell here in our Northern Ontario Winter so I took advantage and tested it using one of my 2,700 PSI pressure washers. The operating pressure range is 2,000-4,500 PSI, so my unit was within specification. I connected it to my pressure washer and there were no leaks. I took the unit to my back concrete patio which is always in partial shade, therefore having a heavy buildup of algae and grime from the rain that comes off the roof. I found the unit easy to use; it maneuvers smoothly and effortlessly over the surface. It powered off the dirt quite well, however, I can see that it would benefit from a larger pressure washer closer to the 3,500 – 4,500 PSI range; you will require fewer passes.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am satisfied with the product. It is a commercial grade, made from quality brass and stainless steel – it is built to last a lifetime. It cuts down the time required to clean a large deck or driveway by a lot. At a current price of $349.99, I feel it is fairly priced for the commercial quality and functionality delivered.In summary: the “24 Inch Heavy-Duty Stainless-Steel 4,500 PSI Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner” made by MEKOH is a commercial-grade product that is built to last and saves money and time. While this pressure washer surface cleaner is available in different sizes, this particular one is the 24 inch, the largest for this product line.Assembly is straightforward. Various instruction sheets are provided with the unit as well as some spare parts. The main body of the unit, the base, is pretty well pre-assembled, including the castors (wheels). Set-up assembly is limited to the handlebars which come in two pieces. The two piece handlebars as well as the lower section which attaches to the base are connected by pins with a split ring so it is just really a matter of sliding the pin into the holes and securing it with the split ring.The list of contents indicates that there are two long pins and one short pin but the three pins are all actually the same size. I am also missing the needle, used to avoid the nozzle from clogging. I have written the manufacturer, MEKOH, to see if they will mail me that replacement part. They have a 24 hour response time according to papers included with the product so we'll be able to determine the level of service provided by them. I'll update the review with that information when I receive it.There is some Teflon tape provided to make a tighter connection on the hose screw end in order to secure against possible leaks.The unit is heavy in the box but once assembled, lifting it does not present a problem. It's similar to lifting a lawn mower.You do get some spare parts which is a nice touch, including spare nozzles. The unit's operation is very simple and you will see from the photo of the underside of the unit that all that is there is the spray bar with two nozzles.The most difficult part of the installation is attaching the spray gun to the right handlebar. You have to align three sets of holes, the handlebar grip, the sprayer hose attachment grip and the holes in the metal of the handlebar grip. Once you accomplish that, you screw in the provided two screws and the turning is tough. Thankfully, MEKOH has provided the wrench for this which does make the job a little bit easier.Due to cold temperatures, I have not been able to hook up the unit so once Spring arrives, I'll update the review with that further information as well.All in all, it's a large unit and practically all metal so it's very sturdy. Right now, I'll classify it as a "buy" conditional on a further update relating to its performance and the service provided by the company for the missing part.

Anyone who has a textured concrete driveway knows that every couple of years you need to seal the driveway with a clear acrylic sealer to protect the integrity of the concrete and keep stains off. This involves first having to thoroughly clean the driveway.I have a Honda pressure washer that is many years old but still works perfectly and I use this and the spray gun to clean my driveway regularly. The problem is that since the driveway is textured it is very difficult to do a perfect job and it takes me more than 2 hours to clean it properly.To hire professionals to do my driveway would cost $1400!! Yes, that includes the acrylic which costs $150 but I could save $1250 every 2 years by doing it myself.I thought that this MEKOH pressure washer surface cleaner would make this job easier faster and better. I was right!This surface cleaner is truly a game changer in cleaning a driveway.It arrived well-boxed and assembly was very quick.You can tell as soon as you see this surface cleaner that it is heavy-duty and a professional-grade cleaner.It is also HUGE! I knew it was 24 inches across but when you see it you realize how large this is.There is a double handle that you use to move the cleaner around on your driveway. The 4 wheels move very smoothly and easily even on my textured driveway.The handle has a trigger on the right handle which you use to start and control the water flow.It attached perfectly to my power washer.So how well does it work?The 2 nozzles spin at high speed and do they ever clean well!! Normally I would have to go over my driveway at least 3 times with the power washer gun but with this cleaner, just one pass made my driveway cleaner than it has been in years.It leaves no streaks and cleaned every inch of my driveway better than I ever could with a power washer gun.Also, it took me 20 minutes!! I was able to clean my entire driveway and make it ready for sealing in about 1/6th the time it normally takes me.It was interesting too as I had a few people ask where I got this cleaner as it looks like I am pushing a flying saucer across my driveway.This has really changed the way I will be cleaning my driveway and I will now be cleaning it a lot more frequently since it takes so little time. I also saved myself over $1000 by doing this myself.For the price of only $350 (at the time of this review) for such a well-made tool that works so well, it is a bargain!I recommend this to anyone who has a large surface that they need to clean. It would work on any flat surface like patios, decks, or sidewalks.

Just an fyi, you need a decent pressure washer to connect this surface cleaner to. My electric Sun Joe was not enough, so I had to use my 3500 PSI gas pressure washer. I don't think anything under 3000 PSI will perform well. Also, you need to go slow for it to work best.The second thing I'd like to mention is post purchase support. There are a lot of these washers where they break after a few months, and the seller seems to disappear leaving you with nothing more than a paper weight. With a $300+ machine I would be very careful about this.On to the review. It's winter here but I used this on my concrete (not epoxied) garage floor to see if it could clean all the gunk off. This thing cleaned the floor well, and I was impressed. As expected with the circular design, it wasn't able to reach the corners, and also a couple of inches or so of the floor closest to the wall were missed. However, this surface washer still saved me a lot of time by washing the rest of the floor quicker than it would have if I used my pressure washer by itself to do the whole floor.The one slight drawback was that I did end up having to use a floor squeegee to get the dirty pooled leftover water off my garage floor completely. Unlike with a pressure washer wand where you can sort of direct where the water goes, you can't with this surface washer. Just a minor thing to note, you probably will have to use a garden hose to get the leftover dirty water off a driveway or sidewalk.Quick connect on the spray gun is great. The handles are good except for the spray handle. I saw another unit where you had to use your own normal pressure washer wand as a handle, but this unit has its own handles, which I imagine are a lot better.This surface cleaner was easy to put together by myself. It's made of stainless steel, and doesn't feel cheap (except again for the spray handle). I hope this unit lasts more than a few months, and I'm currently storing this inside my house where it's warm to help extend its life.

There are 4 wheels which help to move the unit around your floor and make it easier on you when cleaning.This unit is made well and is easy to use once you have it setup. If you already own a pressure washer and are often using it to clean your floors and surfaces, you will definitely appreciate this attachment.
