Let's start by saying these filters are fantastic. You can hear the carbon grains rattling around inside if you shake them. Don't worry, this rattling does not happen once installed. The smell of the car immediately changed after install, which was a nice change. Teslas don't usually get servicing like oil changes, so getting air filters changed has to typically be a deliberate choice. I would also recommend looking at coil cleaner if there is a strong musty smell before changing them. This 4 pack is good for two changes (each one requires two filters). Once a year should be sufficient for most. The kit also includes a plastic pry bar and 90-degree screw driver which you WILL need.Now, here's my major complaint - Tesla did not make it easy to install. Like, not at all. The instructions provided include a set of very small pictures which give you a small idea of what to do, but honestly, after you pull the two panels, nothing looked the same. I think different year models have different parts. Anyway, a quick trip to YouTube helped me immensely. However, I had to do some very interesting contortions to actually do the job. That last screw to remove the filter cover was a nightmare to get to.Things I recommend:- knee pads or a foam mat to kneel on- a good low temperature flashlight or work light - trust me, don't melt your floor carpets- a magnet on a retractable pole is a plus if you drop that last screw.TLDR: Great filters, terrible car design. Only do this if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.

I'm hoping this will last quite some time and filters well. We had to replace the filters on our 3 and these seem to be a good deal. Hopefully they are as good as they sound and more cost effective. They seem pretty sturdy. Only time will tell I guess.
