Really warm and high quality sleeping bag!
This is a a BIG sleeping bag! We've only had the mummy style sleeping bags for backpacking, but we're doing more car camping now and wanting something more comfortable, and we found it!Initial impression: This is a big and heavy sleeping bag. I would think that for most people it wouldn't be the best choice for backpacking due to it's size and weight. However, if you're looking for a car camping sleeping bag, this would be a great one to get. Once you get inside the bag, you'll find an enormous amount of room to turn and roll around. This bag will be a game changer for us!Quality: I was actually very impressed with the quality of this bag. First, the material seems to be of very high quality. The outer shell has a nice texture to it and looks to be very durable. The inner shell is a very soft material that feels great against the skin. All of the stitching is very well done with no loose threads that I could find. The zipper works very well and is smooth. It will snag occasionally (like most bags do), but you'll learn to use your hand to help keep the baffle out of the way as you're zipping it.Comfort: This bag is very comfortable to sleep in. We used it down to 40 degrees F and was nice and warm. The bag has a nice hood with drawstring. We really like the extra zipper at the bottom of the bag as it lets you open it up and use as a blanket, or to stick your feet out it you're one of those types (I am!).Stuff sack: The stuff sack is large and well constructed. It'll take every effort to get the bag back into the stuff sack, but this is pretty much the industry standard. Don't roll the bag up, just start stuffing it in and compacting it down as you go.Conclusion: For car camping, this is an excellent sleeping bag. We actually look forward to sleeping in this bag as it's soo comfortable and warm. We would buy this bag again and would also recommend it to others.

Comfy, warm and has an inside pocket
This is a really nice sleeping bag. I like that the foot area has a separate zipper. It's warm, comfy and roomy. I really like that it has an inside pocket. I actually slept in the barn one night to test this out. It's great, and I love that it has an internal pocket that I could put my glasses and phone in. The bag and straps allow you to compress is greatly. I can't wait until the spring to actually try this out in a tent.

Adult sleeping bag
I got this so my husband has his own sleeping bag for camping instead of lugging around a big ole blanket and so that he’s warmIn cooler weather. He actually fits nicely in this bag and he’s got some extra room to turn/roll over in his sleep. He likes that it’s the mummy style bc he chooses to be bald and so his head gets cold quick when the temperature starts dropping. So for him it’s perfect for wrapping up his head and staying warm. We usually just go camping not backpacking and camping and I have to say this sleeping bag has some weight to it so I don’t believe it’s ideal for backpacking but I’ve never tried so I’m not 100% sure on that. Just seems like extra weight I wouldn’t want to carry around. It’s a comfortable bag with a double zipper so you could open it up and use it as a blanket if you wanted. Overall he really likes it and he’s happy to have his own sleeping bag now!

Not for super serious hikes, and be wary of the low temp promises, but good for casual backpacking!
Disclaimer: I received the product from Amazon's Vine Voices program in exchange for an honest review.Summary: Not as warm as you might hope, but otherwise a good bit of kit. I would dress very warmly for sleeping in the advertised 20 F weather using just this bag. I deduct one star because an unwary buyer could suffer real harm if they don’t prepare well for below-freezing camping and just rely on the label temperature range. Given the relatively high weight and the potential need to supplement the bag with additional gear for adventures truly below freezing, I wouldn’t recommend this for any serious/long hikes. I love the bag for more temperate camping, though!Pricing Opinion: I think it’s appropriately priced for what you’re getting! Top of the line sub-freezing bags go for $1,500, good ones for $500, and car-camping quality for $150. This bag, which you might have to supplement with good thermal gear or an additional bag, for $50 seems fair to me.Pro: +Special zipper set up ?to prevent heat loss from the feet? Or to allow you to stick your feet out? I don’t know the purpose, but I like that I can open the bottom independently of the sides.+ The inner fabric is EXCELLENT at wicking away moisture and drying quickly. I spilled about 60ml of water on myself while groggily drinking some water, and it was all gone within 10s and dry within 20min. Also nice that there were no sweat puddles when I woke up.+Soft inner fabric is very comfortable+Easy enough to pack back up: I fold it in half along the length and then roll up and shove it in the carry bag. If I can do it at 4am sans coffee, it must be easy.+Pocket cleverly located in the top panel to prevent rolling into your stuff+While this likely undermines the insulation, the fact that I can spread out is soooooo nice. I get claustrophobic when I wake up in the mummy-style bags.Con:-Velcro annoying hard to open-Velcro is inherently limited in lifespan. Happily, nothing of import uses velcro the top lock for the side zipper and the internal phone pouch rely on it, but can be replaced readily enough with a lazily sewn-on ribbon or string tie.-The side zipper will slip open a bit if you do not use the velcro lock, but only if you also tightened the opening drawstring.-Wore in 52F/11C weather, not adequate. Humidity was 91-100%, temp range 10-11 C. Warm enough in the beginning with thermal leggings and t-shirt, but then dew accumulated on the surface of the bag, and 4h into the night, I woke up from the cold. I’m disappointed by the disparity between rating (20F/-7C) and actual limits (52F/11C)-Annoying to tighten the face hole with the one draw string. I don’t think this function was terribly well thought out.-Once tightened, the opening folds in an awkward way that lets too much or not enough air inNeutral:~A flap in the holding pouch to allow you to block the opening when the pouch is holding the sleeping bag and cinched. Clever but not super functional as snowmelt or water would definitely make it past that feeble barrier.Unknown:?What are the loops at the foot of the bag for?

Affordable, warm
This is a good sleeping bag for camping or sleepovers for kids. I think the 0 degree rating is probably optimistic, but it is probably good to the high 20's or low 30's. The materials are good, the zipper is smooth, and thebsynthetic fiber fill is soft and fluffy. It comes in a nice stuff sack that can be cinched down quite a bit.One point I would add; this is not a backpack aimed at backpackers. It has quite a bit of room in it, which means more material and even when packed down it's rather large for a backpack. But if you are tent camping or car camping, it's perfect and more comfortable than an ultralight backpacking option. It's a great option for the money.
