Very rude but funny
Watched it straight away and it made me laugh out loud. Very 1980's, quite crude but very funny, it took me back to my 20's. Looks a bit dated now but very enjoyable. Anybody who is easily offended should not watch this

good buy for a fan but not a fantastic picture
My all time fave movie, classicIt is the new Blu-ray and dvd combo set I just bought and ill be honest picture wise I was disappointed, they did a 2k restoration so I expected the picture to look fantastic but it was pretty average, I expect grain as this was filmed using film but the picture is way too grainy more so in some parts than others, also there are scenes where the picture is not very clear like at the start when we see rita and sue walking to bobs house for the first time they are about 50ft away from the camera and it was not as clear as it should be. I have had a 720p digital version (along with the dvd released a few years ago) and that honestly looks better picture wise and less grain also these parts that are not so clear looking are more clear on the 720p version I have :/Also the movie has black bars to the left and right of the video and while I get this sometimes with older movies this should have been sorted out so it did not happen, usually I click aspect ratio on my tv to widescreen and it did not do anything this time neither did the other settings other than the STRETCH setting where I had to click right a few times so it pulled the picture out sideways so there were no black bars...the picture still looked ok and not stretched out if you know what I mean but ive not had this at all with any of my 500 bluray collection lol.Another niggle for me was the main menu screen about how basic and bad it looked/cheap the menu buttons were not great and it is just a picture of Rita, Sue and Bob but its not good quality and very grainy a quick go in photo shop would have clear the picture up very good but it seems they did not bother which I find odd since they went to the effort to gather up set photos from cast members and do the 60+ minute documentary and interviews...which......are fantastic, clearly for any fan these are brilliant, included 90+ set and promo photos, some from the actress`s and other production crew which have never been seen before or released, also the documentary/interviews I did not expect it too be as long as it was when I heard they were going to make it for the blu-ray release its brilliant. Some people may think I'm picky just I expected it too look better than the 720p digital version I have got. I am still glad I bought it as I'm a fan of the movie and the extras are worth the money alone for me, this is however a on par quality wise with the American bluray version which I also have, and they did not do any 2k restoration with that so clearly BFI needs to try do a bit better job instead of using the wording to make it sound like it is the best quality you can get

Nostalgia Hit
Great fun seeing this again. The fact they would never make this film today means you should definitely watch it.
