The straps do and function exactly as needed

This replaced the poor quality strap that came with my carry bag. Easy to install and works great. Comfortable and balances the bag evenly. Have played several rounds and I’m happy with it. Only complaint is it squeaks a bit with each stride.

These are easy to install and the bag strap design is well thought out and constructed but they are on the thin side and these won't be comfortable on my small frame after about an hour. They started to hurt after 10 minutes. I think for someone taller (I'm 5' 2") and maybe with a longer torso.

My golf bag (which I love) came only with a single strap. I find it uncomfortable and have wanted a double-sided one for a while. So I jumped at the chance to try one. So glad I did. It's not just that the double straps distribute the bag's weight and make it easier to carry, what I especially love is the mechanism where the straps cross. Instead of a fixed pad, it is a plastic piece with cogs that allow the bag to respond to your body movements. I love this feature. Finally, there's plenty of lead tape to allow you to adjust the length of the straps to your personal height. I'm happy with this item.
