Just a heads up: never buy software from Amazon for a product with a money back satisfaction guarantee. Buy it from the software company. I returned this, and Amazon refunded me only for the original shipping charge. I'm in the process of trying to resolve that.The software's interface is quite elegant and easy to use, and the BIM catalogue library is better designed than a lot of competitors. I enjoyed using the product.So why did I return it? Honestly, for the price I couldn't do as much with it as I would have hoped. You cannot manually edit framing or roofs, and the 3D rendering engine is not all that good for a product in this price range.

Great Program! Lots of online training videos for specific construction nuances. End results are true to form. Great product for DIY and business users. Highly recommend!

Used the commercial version for many years (too costly to upgrade) when I was in the trades, but this fits the bill for DIY projects and design.

Too hard to work with

At first it seems like a great piece of software but after using it now for about 6 months. I'm just not impressed. Auto Room dimensions are horrid. I've taken Algebra, Statistics, calculus, Trig. I CAN NOT tell you how they come up with their numbers. For example. I drew a square room 30x30 (Exterior dimensions) ft with 2x6 outer walls (5.5 inches each / 11 inches total). That leaves 29 feet 1 inch in-between the interior walls (Stud face to stud face). I place ONE 2x4 (3.5 inches) wall in 11 ft 1 inch in from the inside of one wall to split the room . So that leaves 17ft 8.5 inches to the inside stud face of the opposite wall. However this program insists that instead of 17ft 8.5 inches that the distance to that stud face is 18ft 3/8 inch. I have check, rechecked everything is stud face to stud face. This is not possible even with todays jacked up math. Tech support. Forget about it.If you want to goof around its fun. If you want to build from it No Chance. Of course there are those that CAN NOT read a tape measure. Perhaps they could make the measurement work.

my wife got me this as an early Christmas present I had the trial version of the chief architect I was playing around on and I loved the concept I love designing houses and I love the idea to control every detail of the build and I wasn’t a big fan of the trial version but I absolutely love the home designer architecture well worth the money if you are willing to take time and learn the program because it’s gonna take time but well worth it for any DIY or just someone who loves designing houses

Es un programa de diseño muy completo, relativamente fácil de usar, hay que familiarizarse en un principio con los botones y las herramientas, pero en definitiva, algo muy completo, hay utilerias extra en a pagina del fabricante que están a la venta. pero considero que con lo que te brinda desde un principio este software, puedes hacer cosas muy interesantes. Recomendado.
