By Marjorie's husband: Ordered April 11. Received April 20 (shipping snafu is another story). I ordered the DVD version as here in remote Alaska internet is very shaky and downloads often a problem. Amazon posting of this item says the software dvd are made on demand. So WHY do I have to down load an update April 22? Luckily our internet held together long enough for me to down load but sheesh really only 11 days after purchase?On another note, I did not carefully check system needs for this item and my Dell Laptop may not have the proper graphics card for this software. At least it keeps telling me that when I get into the program. I have been able to force my way along enough to cobble up a floor plan but this is NOT a program for neophytes like me. I'm finding it slow going to figure stuff out. It really helped to down load the instruction manual - again our internet is too sketchy (and expensive $$$$) to count on online connections all the time. But don't count on popping this into your computer and whipping out your dream home the first evening. This is going to take some learning. Ir seems like I still have to build most of the whole house when all I wanted to do was play with a redesign of our kitchen and living room. I may find it yet but it would be nice to be able to type in a data set of dimensions versus trying to draw it all in. Order of drawing is very critical and I went round in circles for quite a while - and still barely have it to my satisfaction. I'll plug along with it and hope I get it to work and hope to post update(s) as I go.NOW if the DVD drive on my iMac worked I would hope I have the graphics capability to better use this program - working on a fix for that too - but that's not the problem of the software..
